Haven't done much in the way of Christmas prep to be honest, although I did watch a Michael Bublé thing the other day - it was an audience with thing where he sang his Christmas album. I enjoyed every second! 🎄🎄

Muddling I love Cardiff, it's where I usually go for my traditional wander around to shop in Christmas lights when I don't really need to buy any gifts as the Christmas market is lovely (I usually go Usk too as it's so pretty).

Newport too! I'm trying to stop twitching buying more presents as I've already bought and wrapped them all. Driving DP nuts with Christmas related requests such as re painting all downstairs, wanting a 7/8ft tree and Pinterest Christmas boards of ideas.

Bit of a rubbish night's sleep last night thanks to the wind waking small children. But it's meant to be easing off now, so we got through it!

Prosecco we should start wearing Christmas jumpers whenever we go out so we can recognise each other! We have a 9ft tree which fitted in our Victorian house. We are now in a new build so it could get interesting

I am trying I swear. But it's hard when there's such good bargains! I'm trying to focus on changing the living room to my winter theme and thinking about all the Saturdays I can spend drinking cocktails whilst other people are Christmas shopping.

Mrsmadevans Crickhowell is beautiful I couldn't afford a house there either but Abergavenny is lovely too. Wonderful mountains (to look at, I hate climbing them) although even I can manage the sugar loaf!

Prosecco I'm often in Newport for work. Have you twitched yet? I'm desperately keeping myself under control - we've planned that everyone is getting a hamper before we go (as is tradition) and some people (i.e. DHs family) will get their gifts before we go while others will get gifts brought back from our trip away.

I've dug out my Christmas jumpers already. I have a few - my favourite is one I made (plain black thin jumper - added a ribbon Christmas tree, sequin baubles and jingle bells)

I have a spotty baby. Chicken pox has hit and M, bless her is being a trooper. I've still got no idea what we will be doing at Christmas. DH is waiting to find out if any of his leave requests have been approved.

I was on an 18 month contact covering someone's sebatical to another role so I knew it could happen but he seemed to be doing so well in his new role I just assumed it would be made permenant. I was going to look for a better job once I had gone back anyway it's just rubbish I have to worry about it now when I should be enjoying time off with DD and potentially have to go back early to make sure I have a job before my pay runs out. I've had a comiseratong chinese and writing my list for the Sainsbury's sale tomorrow must not buy extra toys they do not need
