Playmobil unicorn fairy advent calendar £14.99 in Argos. Reckon it will sell out fast at this price. Has been known to drop to £9.99 on Amazon in recent years as we've seen on this thread, but never stays at that price for long and I kept missing it!

runbitch · 11/09/2017 06:15

the book people have spend £15 get free delivery and a free gift only valid until midnight.

tiggersdontlikehoney · 11/09/2017 07:49

Can anyone explain how the Playmobil Advent Calendar works? - sorry to be dumb, but have a 3 year old and never done anything except the 1980s 'open a cardboard door' calendars before. Are there doors to open???

tiggersdontlikehoney · 11/09/2017 07:53

Btw that Toys R Us link took me to the US site where there was no deal.. the UK site does have the offer on the home page x

PamelaPatricia · 11/09/2017 09:39

Free gift and free delivery over £15 using code HAPPY15 on The Book People. Today only.

Free gift and free delivery on orders over £15 using code HAPPY15 on The Book People. Today only.

Haudyerwheesht · 11/09/2017 09:47

tiggers yes there are doors to open and you can get a wee piece of playmobil behind each one e.g. One day maybe a figure, one day a cup, one day a chair etc and so on to make up a scene

RJnomore1 · 11/09/2017 09:50

I keep falling off the thread 😟

tootsieglitterballs · 11/09/2017 09:52

Thank you @PamelaPatricia - the old bear book looks lovely, and I can always spend money in the book people!

PamelaPatricia · 11/09/2017 10:01

@tootsieglitterballs You're very welcome. The Book People have offers all week apparently but that code seemed particularly good value. Don't forget to check for cashback etc.

tootsieglitterballs · 11/09/2017 10:31

@PamelaPatricia I've never used any cash back sites... perhaps I'm missing a trick!

PamelaPatricia · 11/09/2017 10:55

I think cashback sites are brilliant. I like getting something for nothing! I haven't altered my spending habits but do try to remember to check if cashback is available before purchasing. Most cashback sites now offer some sort of reminder option within the toolbar. I have accounts with four or five different cashback sites as some offer better rates for certain stores or don't offer cashback on sites that I regularly use. But I think Topcashback is the best overall. I will send you my referral link to Topcashback as I think you gain a bonus that way (as do I). But do not feel obliged to use it.

Fandabidozy · 11/09/2017 11:00

Sorry if I've missed it but anyone know of any Smyth's codes?

I'm only spending £26 but we don't qualify for free delivery here (Highlands apparently!)

I'd normally boycott on that basis but it's the only place I've managed to find a basic purple dolls pushchair "with 2 handles, wobbly wheels and no hood!" according to 4yo DD's Christmas list Hmm

Haudyerwheesht · 11/09/2017 11:51

fanda is it the dimples buggy? If so dd has it and it's brilliant.

TobleroneBoo · 11/09/2017 12:33

Have seen that Claires are doing 5 Jojo bows for £5 if anybody is interested?

FireflyGirl · 11/09/2017 12:50

If you can resist the temptation until Christmas, food offers:
Tesco Bucks Fizz is £1 instore. Worth putting away!
Selected M&S crisps are buy one get one free, and the dates were into January.

Playmobil 1.2.3. takealong zoo and aquarium £13.99 on clearance in Argos, still £25 on Amazon.

torthecatlady · 11/09/2017 12:58

Wow the bucks fizz is ok for £1! Definitely going to pick up a couple of bottles of that today!

Reastie · 11/09/2017 12:59

Ginger and trolls I absolutely need to get myself a nice big red book and log all Christmas presents in it every year, that is the holy grail. I will keep an eye out in tkmaxx etc. Can confirm I've now found the Christmas list on screwed up paper, hurrah! It was hiding under the sofa!

Die cast cars 75p and emergency vehicles 40p ( American style) they had sets of cars and tracks too in our tesco good for stockings or advent calendars. DC here not really into cars so have no idea if they are any good but thought someone might find it useful.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 11/09/2017 14:17

Those Mermaid Fizz look great but seems to be OOO in central Scotland again Angry

Badders08 · 11/09/2017 14:25

Those asda iron maiden t shirts are down to £6....

Llamacorn · 11/09/2017 14:25

Just a wee heads up to say those mermaid fizzers aren't bath bombs - dd got one from Tesco (no idea how much) and it said not to bathe with, but to put in a bowl of water. Dd had a rash all over her hands from putting them in the bowl of water so I dread to think what it would of been like if I'd not read it properly and let her take it into the bath.

Dd is after a twinkling owlicorn hatchimal - I've not been able to find a toysrus with one in stock yet, I keep phoning stores every week to no avail.
And she would like Santa to bring her a case of LOL dolls 😱

MamaMiaBebe · 11/09/2017 14:33

Oh no! Sorry, I had assumed the mermaid fizz was a bath bomb! Eek.
