Oooo an app! Love a good app

Reastie · 26/08/2017 06:23

Shestood we got dd a second hand iPod (the 'vintage' sort with the wheel) and it's perfect for dd (6). I looked at new ones from various brands but they seemed expensive given it might get dropped/broken. I actually put a note on my fb page to ask any friends if they had an old iPod I could buy from them and that's how I got it.

@Reastie we got a lovely brushed cotton one from matalan a couple of years ago - it's a red tartan one and comes out November - February (sometimes longer!) so its more of winter one than just Christmas. Think I'll invest in nice Christmas throw this year.

Tesco have a bank hol deal - have bought DH an echo dot for £39 which felt like a bargain:

£5 off when you spend £35 with code TDX-HMFR
£10 off when you spend £75 with code TDX-HYTP
£20 off when you spend £150 with code TDX-WFTW

TheUnseenAcademic · 26/08/2017 07:28

In the Night Garden playset reduced to £9.99 in Argos.

They also have £10 off the Disney Princess scuttlebug, now £19.99.

Also lots of cool stuff in the Hawkins Bazaar sale, including:

Glow in the Dark beer pong £9.99
Mushroom erasers £1.49
Tin toy boats £1.75
Eggimon hatching dinosaur £15.00 reduced from £50.00. I assume these are like Hatchimals, might be good for younger siblings who would want the same as an older sibling getting a Hatchimal, but won't know the difference.

They also have a lot of Popz/Bebot/Dorbz figures half price. And Chewbacca Loopin Louie £7.99. Worth a look around.

Delivery is £3.95 or free over £45.00.

Boreoff we got DD a large wooden Kidscraft doll house which houses all her Barbies. The big Barbie house is very plasticky. I hesitated over buying the cheaper one (Malibu? This has been as cheap as 50 pounds in the run up to Christmas) but after seeing it at a friend's house, decided to go for wood.

Soslowmo · 26/08/2017 08:19

I've never used an app before, but I got this 'Manage Christmas' one a few weeks ago and it's pretty good I think.

Morning

Im really struggling for ideas for dd2. She's 13 next month, allshe wants for Xmas and birthday is a pokemon ds game. I've also got a Radiohead t shirt she likes to buy.

She has a phone, tv, Bluetooth speaker, tablet, beats headphones...not into makeup or styling yet, too big for toys overall, I dunno. Any ideas?
