Agree about the game of life
Get the regular one. My son got the junior one at five and has only played it about 5 times it's very repetitive and boring quite quickly

mayathebee · 29/08/2017 09:58

Thanks Carrie76 and Tattybogle89 - I'll look out for a deal on the regular game of life.

Haudyerwheesht · 29/08/2017 10:49

The jojo be you journal is down to £3.49 on amazon just now

rainingcats · 29/08/2017 11:19

The works have 10 children's books for £10 .... link! lots to choose from - I have bought some to make up book hampers for christmas presents and also to add in alongside some christmas books as part of a book advent.

Soslowmo · 29/08/2017 11:29

Dd (6) had the baby Annabelle that sucks on a dummy and wees, last Christmas. I think it's a really lovely doll.

FireflyGirl · 29/08/2017 11:32

Anyone buying from the Works, don't forget to go through Quidco/TCB. They were offering 17% over the weekend. And free delivery with SundayFD, but that may have expired now.

SockEatingMonster · 29/08/2017 11:33

Good to hear your romotive went down well @BWatchWatcher. I think I'll have fun with it if not!

To add to what @PamelaEwing posted about second hand iPhones; check very careful what each retailer includes in their warranty. I had to buy DH a temporary handset a few weeks ago and went into both CEX and Game. CEX initially impressed me with their '2 year warranty', but it excluded a very long list of faults, including all battery issues. Game, on the other hand, only offered a 1 year warranty, but one that included pretty much everything, with the added bonus that they guarantee to exchange there and then I'm any store for a similar or better model of yours does fail.

Been into Wilkos this morning and there are half price seeds and gardening equipment. Made nice little hamper for veggie growing bil. Thanks everyone for your inspiration and bargains so far.

Any ideas for token presents for very sporty 14 and 16 year old boys?

todayisabeautifulday · 29/08/2017 12:06

Thanks for the Works info. Just bought ten books for ten and the free delivery code another poster found still works!

Hedgyhoggy · 29/08/2017 12:11

national geographic £12.99 subscription first link hope it works!

todayisabeautifulday · 29/08/2017 12:31

Can someone help me please? I need to buy some Paw Patrol individual pup toys (or the sets of three that I saw around) but I have no idea which ones I should buy. Do you know which ones have the little bag packs that come out if one pushes a button (or something like that...kind of difficult to understand what my 4-year-old has seen...)? Any place where I could get them at a decent price apart from Amazon? I'd rather get the original ones than imitations, so that he gets what he wants and actually plays with them. Thank you! Smile

RyanStartedTheFire · 29/08/2017 12:32

Maybe not a bargain but a recommendation and a good price. The Book Depository has the Little People, Big Dreams range at really good prices and they have some new releases available for pre-order too. They're not too long either so easy to read.

Todayis the cheapest I've ever found the backpack pups is in ASDA and the price only drops by pennies during rollback (I'm happy to be corrected here if anyone has seen a good reduction) I don't use it but try CamelCamelCamel?

MyHouse2011 · 29/08/2017 12:53

Ryan thanks for the recommendation. A few of those books are cheaper on amazon today.

RyanStartedTheFire · 29/08/2017 13:17

Where/which titles MyHouse? All I can see is more expensive or kindle editions. If I can get them cheaper I'll cancel the order I just placed.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 29/08/2017 13:30

betsy I havent much experience of dolls but if u wanted to get them all together to get the voucher pay when you are reserving fasttrack as they keep the items for 7 days :)

today the cheapest way would be on a 3 for 2 from argos or if tesco do theirs again. The pups with badges are the ones with pop out packs. The ones in vehicles don't have the pop out packs. DD had to have both so have so many different pups in our house!!!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 29/08/2017 13:31

Oh and the packs of 3 also have the pop out packs today

Cupoteap · 29/08/2017 13:48

Thx for the mojo journal

PamelaEwing · 29/08/2017 13:59

Nintendo Switch Lowest Price ever apparently on Amazon with code?! Shock

Just seen on another bargain website (so can't verify) but apparently both neon colourways are available for £259 delivered through Amazon with code VG20OFF150 which you enter at checkout. Hope it works for someone!!

Chickpearocker · 29/08/2017 14:00

Thank you for the works free delivery code just ordered my 10 books!

SockEatingMonster · 29/08/2017 14:42

Someone further upthread asked if the Lisa Angel jewellery was suitable as a stand alone gift. I think the question was answered, but in case it helps anyone else, the butterfly statement necklace at £2.80 would make a lovely stand alone gift not a chance here though, I'm keeping it for myself It's heavy, feels good quality and comes really nicely presented. I'll upload some photos. I also ordered another necklace and a bracelet (both lovely, the other necklace is particularly nice). I paid just over £6 for everything, including a small discount on checkout for signing up for their newsletter. Amazing value. Thank you so much to whoever first posted the link Flowers
