Let's carry on here until we can sort a proper one.

Thanks for advice on marble runs, you've convinced me!

Although good point about the dangers of marbles, I hadn't really thought of that. I have a very small baby at the moment and am already anxious about the stage where the tiny lego/playmobil bits might be within reach.

Kraggle · 13/08/2017 21:09

Thanks for the sizing advice, will up the sizes!

TellMeItsNotTrue · 13/08/2017 21:12

Those Baker ross ducks are really quite small, baby ducks rather than the size you would assume a duck would be, we got them last year

Kraggle · 13/08/2017 21:17

Darn I'm not sure what sizes to go for now, dd is 4 but tall and currently in 6-7 clothes so do I get an age 7 or age 8 pyjamas as they're for Christmas so she will shoot yo again by then!

Llamacorn · 13/08/2017 21:26

8, maybe even 9! I do 2 sizes up in Hatley jammies as they're super small and skinny (and I have skinny dd's)
I pick them up in tkmaxx sometimes too for £7-£8, just depends how lucky you can be on the day!

OhHolyFuck · 13/08/2017 21:29

Fairy garden down to £6 (with £2 delivery)

Thanks Llamacorn can you tell I've never bought them before! Watch them go back up in price anyway by Tuesday.

So i think we have decided to get DS a train table so any bargains or recommendations appreciated 😁 he will almost be 3 at Christmas. He also loves loves loves cars so if anyone sees any bargain bumper hotwheel packs id snap those up!

FoofFighter · 13/08/2017 21:55

@woodwaj I think someone on last thread linked to a train table bargain on Studio?

MelinaMercury · 13/08/2017 22:02

I agree re Hatley PJ's, size up 2 sizes if possible. They are VERY skinny fit android quite short on the rise in the bottoms I find.

MelinaMercury · 13/08/2017 22:04

*and not android!!

Oh and my studio order arrived yesterday, just opened it tonight and am v. Impressed with the bargain wrapping paper I got. Seems good quality, need to get wrapping now :o

exhaustedtwinmummy · 13/08/2017 22:05

woodwaj We hunted for a train table last year and nearer to Christmas, ELC and Toys r Us had the best deal for us.

FoofFighter · 13/08/2017 22:06

I only sized up one, maybe I should have gone 2 Sad

chocolatepudandchocolatesauce · 13/08/2017 22:15

I came on to say about the busy books from Tesco being 2 for £9. I got Thomas and My Little Pony :) may well order a mermaid tail blanket too. Was after one last year but resisted. Think my DD will love one this year. My sister told me today that its too early to be thinking about Christmas Hmm Should I scrub her off my list for having such a filthy mouth? Smile

runbitch · 13/08/2017 22:29

Halfords have 20% of kids bike. Just got DDs for Christmas and they going to build it for me. Easy christmas eve for us!

HairyMcFairy16 · 13/08/2017 22:35

Anyone come across a deal on hatchimals? They seem outrageously priced for what they are and I don't suspect they will hold much interest after a week or so.

woodwaj · 13/08/2017 22:44

Ill take a look at studio! The table he was playing with today was from elc it was £150 which seemed steep compared to some ive seen recently?!

MyHouse2011 · 13/08/2017 22:48

woodwaj I'm sure I've seen a hot wheels advent calendar somewhere- maybe eBay?

SideOrderofSprouts · 13/08/2017 22:48

Tesco was selling a train table cheap as well

Betsy86 · 13/08/2017 22:53

Placemarking!!!! Wow was in panic wondering why there were no deals then found new thread lolx

CheekyFucker · 13/08/2017 22:55

@VinoTime the chocolate coins are £1.50 for 15 coins so 10p per coin.

LexieLulu · 13/08/2017 23:02

Has anyone bought thomas the tank track master before? It's quite expensive and I can't decide whether it's worth the cost? (My son will be 4 at Christmas, I worry that trains won't be his thing for much longer)

girlsnames · 13/08/2017 23:10

Here are some chalk bombs. Pack of 2 for £2. Delivery is expensive £4.50 but I am getting them as an add on present for all 11 children in the family so works out ok. There is a blue and green pack and a blue and pink pack. Smiggle are also on top cash back. [[http://m.smiggle.co.uk/shop/m20/en/smiggleuk/sale/sale-3/chalk-blast-game chalk bombs]
