WreckTangled · 13/08/2017 11:38

No worries food. The ones I need are the only ones which are expensive Hmm

SideOrderofSprouts · 13/08/2017 11:41

Thank you for the stockings and emoji calendar. I've added both to my watch list to purchase at a later date!

mcdog · 13/08/2017 11:57

My Lisa Angel stuff still hasn't come. Their postage is really slow :(

YouKnewWeHadToDoItEventually · 13/08/2017 12:03

I posted this on the last thread before it filled up but I got it slightly wrong sorry Xmas Blush
You can get a stationery set for £5.99 instead of £10.99 when you spend £10 at the Disney store. Great for back to school, birthday party gift or stocking filler Xmas Smile

Llamacorn · 13/08/2017 12:06

Fallenangel my dds both got exploding kittens last year, so one is still new in its packaging. I'd be happy to post if you want it for your dd?

Allhallowseve · 13/08/2017 12:17

Thanks to the poster for the Tripp sale link just bought a great flight bag for my dad who's always on his travels.
Also eyeing up the stockings at Ali express would definitely advise a browse of the christmas stuff if you haven't had a look.

For anyone wanting to stock up on thank you cards for children, Paperchase have sweet packs of 10 or 12 for £3.50 which is pretty good value. Also online you get bigger discount the more you order - I stocked up with 5 packs and got 20% off. That's the children's thank yous sorted for at least a year! Grin

I've bought Christmas ducks from John Lewis before. Not the cheapest but very cute. They do them every year.

I've always refused to buy my children a marble run after ds(almost 4!) put a marble in his mouth whilst lying down..... almost 2yrs later and I refuse to have them in the house as it was far to scary and I still feel sick about how it could have ended up (I struggle with anxiety anyway). Fortunately he is fine though.

We did buy the playmobil motorhome for ds(3) and he loved it and still plays with it although a lot of the small bits have gone missing

ScarlettDarling · 13/08/2017 13:01

I got this action camera half price in Sainsbury's yesterday, reduced to £25 from £50. Its waterproof, takes videos and photos etc and comes in pink and blue.

Re Playmobil - I didnt bother with the 123, and went right in at 2.5years with normal sized ones. She got the horse jumping play carry case last year and still plays with that a lot. I got it direct from Playmobil site, and got a free dvd with it too :)

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 13/08/2017 16:25

Never fear! I back and in fine fettle! Drunk MNetting is always dangerous Blush

Soslowmo · 13/08/2017 16:28

unicorn my ds did actually swallow a marble at almost 4...it was a metal one, so they located it in his tummy with a metal detector and it did come out the other end eventually. He's the only one of my kids who would do this though 🙄

VinoTime · 13/08/2017 17:07

Baker Ross have a good sale on just now. Lots of stocking filler and small gift ideas, and Christmas crafts. If you sign up to their newsletter, they'll give you a free delivery code for a £20 spend, saving £2.99.

The have a pack of four Christmas rubber ducks for £2.99.

They also have a pack of four unicorn rubber ducks in the sale for £2.95 (were £3.75). Some of the cheapest I've been able to find.

I also spied these handprint tea towels for £1.99. Might be a cute idea for anybody with young children - a nice keepsake to remember how tiny those hands used to be in years to come Smile

They are selling chocolate gold coins for £1.50 - you get 15 bags working out at only 10p each. Great for stockings and to throw in a bag with a gift.

I have bought my first gift of 2017; one of the £34.99 Furby Connects from Argos. They may well be included in some future offer, but DD has been lovingly co-parenting her brother's Furby Boom since Christmas 2015, so I didn't want to miss out.

I have also bought this incredibly tacky but fantastic 50cm LED mistletoe tree from Amazon DH nearly had a stroke when it arrived today. I've been keeping an eye on it since Easter (I wanted one that would double as an Easter tree). £4.82 with delivery I managed to get an Amazon warehouse one for £4.03

MooPointCowsOpinion · 13/08/2017 18:56

Sock I love the little tree! I might swap my living room table lamp out for that tree over Christmas...

dementedma · 13/08/2017 18:57

Tripp link is excellent. Just bought a lovely new flight bag for £13.
Great to have links for adult and older dc gifts

Kraggle · 13/08/2017 19:32

Thanks for the Hayley pyjamas link, put a couple in my basket for dd and dniece but don't get paid until Tuesday so I hope they are still on offer then!

Kraggle · 13/08/2017 19:32

Hatley not blummin Hayley stupid phone!

MelinaMercury · 13/08/2017 19:55

Ooh love to he Christmas ducks :o

Re the marble run, ours is almost 8 years old and has had lots of play by my now 11 and 4 year olds but we got the Galt one. Have tried cheaper ones but somehow they seem flimsier and harder to piece together.

LexieLulu · 13/08/2017 19:58

Aaah grateful to find a 2nd thread!

FoofFighter · 13/08/2017 20:06

@Kraggle I'd advise sizing up with the Hatley PJs they are small for sizes and very snug fitting.

WreckTangled · 13/08/2017 20:12

I agree re hatley pjs

OhHolyFuck · 13/08/2017 20:24

Did I miss a Hatley offer? I can't see it...
