GodReastieMerryGentlemen · 08/12/2016 12:27

Nope, I have no idea what a present shitting log is either.

See post 2 for links etc and note the addition of a link with more info to the mn Christmas appeal, a very good cause if you're looking to donate to charity this Christmas time.

A tube of pringles (maybe the Xmas themed ones) are good for filling space in a stocking.

confuugled1 · 15/12/2016 14:38

If anyone else is disorganised and hasn't ordered their turkey, M&S advance orders close at 5pm this afternoon.

Is anyone else wondering where November went? I seemed to be doing really well early on and suddenly ds1 has broken up for the holiday at lunchtime, the house is messier than ever instead of being deep cleaned as I planned, I've done no wrapping and only written a single Christmas card. And ds2 breaks up tomorrow so no more child free time to do things that I don't want them to spot. Arrrggghhh.

I just need another month and then I can get into the Christmas spirit - suddenly feeling very unfestive.

CurriedEggs · 15/12/2016 15:09

The Entertainer have a 4-pack of Play-Doh for £2

Twinings have 25% off their lovely filled jars with code GIFTJAR. They also have buy 1 Get 1 Free on Christmas Caddies which is quite handy if you just want to stock up your tea supplies - you can get 200 tea bags in two nice tins for £6

and finally Jack Wills have 25% off everything.

Lapinlapin · 15/12/2016 17:06

confuugled1 same here! A month ago I was feeling quite organised, with a cupboard full of presents, Christmas cards already bought etc. Now, I'm panicking that I haven't written, let alone sent a single card, everything needs wrapping and still a couple of presents to get - including photo calendars which might take a while for delivery! Eek!

mammyaroundmadness · 15/12/2016 17:16

Can anyone recommend a good resonably priced mp3 player? Want to get hubby one for his daily commute

Organisednotobsessed · 15/12/2016 17:44

Can anyone recommend any good £10 ish books or other gifts for my friend's 40 something husband please? He goes to things like Comic Con and is quite into stuff like that.

I am not sure if this will help anyone but something I had on my list for my son's birthday just went down by loads. It is the Gears!Gears!Gears Sweet Shop set, when I added it to my list for his birthday it was something like £35 now it's £24.99 which is the lowest it has ever been according to CamelCamelCamel

Was someone recently wanting the imaginex bat cave? It is £18.80 on Amazon right now if you have prime (or take out a new free trial with a new email address). No idea how much it is bormally, but saw this on HDUK so assume it is at least some money off.

There's a few 1000 piece jigsaws at M&S reduced from £15 to £7.50. Ideal last minute present for jigsaw fans or for putting away for next year.

QODRestYeMerryGentlemen · 15/12/2016 21:08

Sure , it's still £40 ..

Sloper · 15/12/2016 21:15

Sorry if this has been mentioned and I've skipped it, but Tesco' new catalogue in-store apparently has a £5 off coupon for when you spend £30 off on Lego in store - if you grab one now you can use it with the 1/3 off Lego too. Smile
