I am after a doll, about the size of baby born I think, preferably with a soft body and the eyes that close when you lie it down. Nothing mega expensive, it's to go with the lovely doll sling I'm having made for DD who is 5. Doesn't need fancy functions, just a basic doll. I keep thinking I've found one then realise the eyes don't close

Long time lurker, just here to see if I can help Reastie. We had a nightmare with the m&s tins today and they have to be posted tomorrow! Yours may truly be faulty or they could be like mine and work only after you have gone completely insane trying.

Basically ignore the instructions. If they beep at all, they work. Press the button done until you hear any kind of beep (one beep, two beeps, three beeps, whatever) record your 10 sec message whilst still holding the button down. It should beep at the end of the ten secs, but doesn't always. To listen to the message take the lid off and hold it upside down for up to ten secs to get the recording to work. The message may be crackly. I haven't worked out any fix for that and just hope the recipients will welcome the gesture rather than actually want to understand what we were saying [sigh].

Oddish for oh holy! I hope you like it - I had a go at embroidering a mouth decided it was making it look like a Halloween toy 😬and I've glued on a felt mouth so I'm not too happy with that but quite pleased with the rest.

Primitivemom yes I'm in exactly the same position with book people. I have a vague recollection of someone mentioning something about delays with them on a previous thread.
I've got my fingers firmly crossed that they get things sorted. DS has only asked Father Christmas for one book and it's on that order!

Clinique offers seem to last only a day, I got the purchase any value order and get 5 minis free on Monday and it finished at midnight , or while stocks lasted ,by the next day it has changed to a different deal whyistherumgone

Bulletproof that sounds truly useless compared to what I was expecting! They have both beeped and we've managed to record greetings (although it took a lot of pressing and waiting and repressing to get that to work) but it doesn't play back when the lid comes off and I have to press the button a lot for any thing to play back. I will have a play around like you suggest and hope it works enough to keep it as I don't really want to go rl shopping.

Has anyone received their nt tea vouchers yet? Do you know if it's specifically tea they have to be used for or does it apply to coffee too? My in laws are nt members and although exdp is giving them money for christmas (towards a new pup..... squeeeeee) I'd like to get them a small gift from dd so if they can be used for a coffee they'd be perfect!
