Nope, I have no idea what a present shitting log is either.

See post 2 for links etc and note the addition of a link with more info to the mn Christmas appeal, a very good cause if you're looking to donate to charity this Christmas time.

Badders123 · 13/12/2016 07:35

JoeMaplin · 13/12/2016 07:37

Is there a code for the clinique offer please? I can only see 3 sample freebies but minimum spend £40? Thanks.

lookingforbaubles · 13/12/2016 07:50

ive just twitched on some dvd's - with click and collect at asda, they had some new release dvds 3 for 20

RJnomore1 · 13/12/2016 08:07

Badders123 · 13/12/2016 08:13

JoeMaplin · 13/12/2016 08:23

Thanks RJ - missed it again!!

JoeMaplin · 13/12/2016 08:24

Tesco direct are doing 2 DVDS for £16, free delivery. They are new releases and cheaper than amazon.

Highfivethatfart · 13/12/2016 08:59

Ok - I am officially pressing the panic button this morning. Am on the lookout for a 'bargainous' Nintendo 3ds console for youngest ds. Was hoping to get one in the Black Friday sales but if there was one I didn't find it. Money off vouchers for toy shops etc - any help gratefully appreciated. Have maybe left it too long and am now starting to see those dreaded three words -'out of stock'. Xmas Sad

confuugled1 · 13/12/2016 09:20

Ihatethecold another dvd to add to the list is the new Asterix dvd - took the dc to see it in the summer and they adored it... So much so that ds1, ds2 and dh have all asked for it for christmas Xmas Grin

Sainsburys have lots of £3/£5 christmas dvds in and Poundland have loads in too for a pound; some are new, some are used but checked and re-wrapped in cellophane so it's not obvious; it's a great way to get a couple of extra christmasy dvds to bulk out a single expensive dvd!

ihatethecold · 13/12/2016 09:22

I'm going to Asda later to get 3 dvds for £20.
BFG for nephew
Zootropolis and angry birds for my grandson.

Snooky17 · 13/12/2016 09:22

Does it have to be the 3ds ? highfive not the 2ds ? And the new 3ds not the old one?

confuugled1 · 13/12/2016 09:24

Just spotted that Smyths have a Thunderbirds 3 playset reduced from £50 to £17!

Highfivethatfart · 13/12/2016 10:04

Snooky too many questions??!! 3ds is preferable as to the new one and old one I wasn't really aware there is a new one......Gaming isn't really my strong point.

drspouse · 13/12/2016 10:04

OK another problem from me...

On wrapping up presents to post I realise that I have forgotten two families of children (the children of my DCs' godparents).

One is local and I can send DH and DS into town to buy something for them.

One isn't and I don't have many shopping days, two year old, would really like to send something wrapped (have just got YET ANOTHER email from the same relative to say X, Y and Z are arriving unwrapped, they do this every year, and DS' birthday is in early Jan so now I don't know whether this is supposed to be for his birthday too?!)

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 13/12/2016 10:19

Is there still a Lisa Angel code knocking about anywhere?

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 13/12/2016 10:35

drspouse I believe Amazon offer a wrapping service, so if you order from them, they should be able to send directly to the recipient already wrapped for you.

Nearlyadoctor · 13/12/2016 11:03

highfive Argos have a £10 voucher if you spend over £100 - obviously not money off but better than nothing if you can't find any deals

drspouse · 13/12/2016 11:06

Weedles I have used that before but for some reason the 2 or 3 ideas I had weren't Amazon sellers, so didn't do wrapping. Annoying.

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 13/12/2016 11:16

That is annoying, what a pain!

drspouse · 13/12/2016 11:18

I've decided to get a couple of books, but from Foyles which also does wrapping and charges less for it!

ASpiderInTheManger · 13/12/2016 11:41

Real life bargains spotted today:
My dd had monster high dolls on her list, they are between £10-£20 each. Asda had a pack of four dolls reduced to £15!
Also saw a big paw patrol poster in a nice black frame on home bargains for £4.99.

Has anyone managed to cancel their Hotel Chocolat tasting club membership online. I can find an unsubscribe from emails but not from the club.
