So annoyed I put my thorntons order in last night seeing that 20% off. It won't let me cancel the order now either so I can't even reorder it with the discount.

lapin when BIL bought his first house, we gave him a biscuit tin & a load of biscuits, some beer & a fire extinguisher. I was very conscious that he probably wouldn't want stuff we liked cluttering up his flat. For his next birthday, we got him a step ladder &, since then, have mainly got him Homebase vouchers for Christmas & birthdays. Not very exciting but it is all being used.

confused have you tried emailing Thorntons to query the discount? I had a similar experience with Pretty Green and ordered an item only for if to have 25% off the next day - when I asked by email if I could cancel my order and then re-order they refunded the difference as a gesture of goodwill. Not sure if that might help?
