Looking for a nice present for SIL that involves gin around the £25 mark, any ideas?

lucysmam · 13/11/2016 10:27

Maybe it's my search terms that are wrong, I've been looking for a Minecraft figures set. Will try bundle, thanks Bowie :)

Avoca76 · 13/11/2016 10:36

Hi. My 5 year old has just started tennis lessons and thought a racket would be a nice present. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced kids tennis racket and the balls they use for mini tennis?

duzzlightyearsmum · 13/11/2016 10:42

A couple of threads ago someone posted about mypicture website that has personalised blankets on it. Has anyone ordered one are they decent quality or not? Would like to get one for MIL but obviously not if they're a bit rubbish
Thanks

cowssheephens · 13/11/2016 10:47

Left it too late...why didn't I pre order?!

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get my hands on a Nintendo mini? I can't pay silly money for one!

bonnieweelass · 13/11/2016 10:59

I urgently need a code for molton brown / body shop / lush / any other smelly place.

For a leaving gift for someone leaving work next week. Ideally Molton Brown but contributions from her colleagues don't stretch far unless I can get a code?

Any help?

WhirlwindHugs · 13/11/2016 11:02

I saw up thread about pokemon pokeballs with toys inside? Are these official pokemon branded toys or imports? I can see lots on amazon but they seem to have dubious reviews no packaging etc. I want to recommend it to family as a gift so needs to be legit.

Looking on the pokemon website, not completely clear on this statement but looks like some waterstones are giving away pokemon card holders free. Might be worth popping in if you are nearby. www.pokemon.com/uk/pokemon-news/get-a-collectible-card-album-at-waterstones/

WhirlwindHugs · 13/11/2016 11:18

Sorry - more pokeball questions, so I think the pokeball catch'n'return and the pokeball clip n carry belt are the official ones? Are there any others I have missed?

Personwithnoname · 13/11/2016 11:24

weebarra are you near a Wilko? They have this wooden high hair for £10 link

InYourHonour · 13/11/2016 11:32

My two got Little Live Pet birds last year and still play with them on and off, not for any great length of time but they definitely have had good use out of them.

MaryMagdelene · 13/11/2016 11:41

Can I ask the people who received the marshmallow toasting kit what the best before is on the marshmallows please?

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/11/2016 11:43

Not sure if anyone has posted yet but while i was in store i got the nectar double up leaflet here goes:

16-22 Nov. Go to cust services to exchange your voucher but some stores do a bespoke till.
Top tip1 - get your shopping from each department first and have a rough idea of how much you have spent so you don't waste points.
Top tip 2 - there is a £20 limit per department but thats only per day - i went back on a few days and got multiple vouchers for the same department last year but on different days (hope they let up do that this year)

Departments included :
Seasonal (Christmas)
Electrical
Entertainment
TU clothing
Homeware
toys
taste the difference - wine champagne, port, sherry.

There are lists of inclusions and exclusions in each dept in the book i have so let me know if you want to know what's in and whats out.

RoastieToastieReastie · 13/11/2016 11:48

Has anyone bought Christmas stockings from studio before?

I remember buying something from there once before and the quality was pretty poor (probably unsurprisingly, as it's so cheap)

I have seen some nice looking sacks and stockings on there though and am tempted as they are so cheap, and seem to be what I'm looking for.

Santa sack with free stocking £2.99

Or, any recommendations for reasonably priced stockings?

The 3 year old currently has one with 'baby's first Christmas' on it! Time to update!

woodwaj · 13/11/2016 12:07

Ding dong merrily i'm high! 😂 That's got to be a thread title!

Duzzlightyear - I have ordered a cushion it was dispatched on the 4th and still not arrived. It says 3 to 5 business days so I've decided to wait till Wednesday before contacting.

Marshmallow kit was dated till April next year. Loads of time on it! On the website it states at least 6 months from date of purchase Smile

BocolateChiscuit · 13/11/2016 12:26

Bit of a random one, but I'm about to join QVC and it's asking for a referral type code if anyone would like to refer me? I'm not sure what you (or I if anything?) get! Thanks in advance!

alabasterangel · 13/11/2016 12:41

Anyone want £20 off a £50 next order?

I was in there this morning and they've given me 3 codes for £20 off a £50 online spend (free delivery to store). There is no catch other than it must be a NEW email address (I.e. You're not already registered with them). I get £20 too. I have no idea how this works for them (spend £50, you get £20 off and I get £20) but hey, I'm not going to argue. It would be enormously helpful as I could then get a few bits for Christmas myself and I'm absolutely squeaking broke at the moment.

They're unique codes so message me if you can use one but only if you're definitely going to order otherwise I'll ask about on FB too.

AbleSeamanTitty · 13/11/2016 12:43

Christmas train at the range £12.99 for small one or £26.99 for bigger one.

I need present suggestions under a fiver for 2yo girl if anyone wants a challenge. Need to be worthy of being wrapped & put under tree so not stocking fillers. She needs nothing thanks to older sisters but her pile is lacking. She has;

Clothes
Books
Peppa Bedding
Peppa toys
Another doll 🙈

Oreocrumbs · 13/11/2016 12:48

Weebarra dd has this 'molly' high chair from Amazon currently £13 + £2 del but I paid about £8-10 for it delivered, the price does vary.

It's lasted well she's had it for over 2 maybe 3 years and it fits bloody baby Annabelle.

Bocolate I don't think there is one any more. They just haven't removed the field from the sign up page. I am a member and can't see anything there for you.

MrsPear · 13/11/2016 13:05

MrsPear · 13/11/2016 13:08
