Thanks to whoever posted about the Bomb cosmetics daily deal yesterday. Ordered one each for dds, will still have to buy the traditional Lush sets as well, or there will be revolt, but nice as a little extra.

pantherfootballforever · 11/11/2016 08:48

Oh Badders I feel your pain! I discovered this morning that there's no milk left so the DC had to have toast for breakfast as couldn't have cereal and now we have no bread either! DH away to work so I too am stuck in doors with nae food! Sad Might have to start on the Christmas chocolates and biscuits in the cupboard to keep me from dying before DH gets home tonight. Chocolate

Snooky17 · 11/11/2016 09:00

Badders &Panther do you have Amazon prime ? Are u in the prime now delivery areas ? Delivery in a couple of hours and they do food too. Only me to shop for now but no idea what I want Hmm

pantherfootballforever · 11/11/2016 09:05

I do have Prime but not in a Prime delivery area. I did look at Sainsburys and Asda for home delivery but no slots until after DH gets home later. Have asked friend who took older DC up to school if she wouldn't mind picking up some bread and milk for me if she's at the shops later - she's away now! Friends are lovely - esp when this is entirely my own fault - I should have checked how much was left last night!

The Book People have 20% off their hand picked favourites with the code Jolly20

I've been at home all week with my poorly daughter. Lots of on line shopping done so I'm expecting a few parcels today.

Checking in. Was speaking to SIL (waves) and she thinks my nephew would like the knex rollercoasters, can anyone shout if they see a price drop?

AmyAmoeba · 11/11/2016 09:33

I have to find a few minutes to catch up on the thread later so apologies if posted already but wentworth wooden puzzles have 15% off on nostalgia, chocolate box and transport jigsaw puzzles, with the code WGRX16. I don't think that's a personal code.

Myriad natural toys are offering free advent tea (24 herbal teas) if you write ADVENT TEA in the order notes. They are not bargainous but the quality of the toys are lovely and anything I've bought from here has been a long term investment.

wornoutboots · 11/11/2016 09:37

just place marking... nothing to see in this....

BowiesBlueEye · 11/11/2016 09:37

PilkoPumpPants · 11/11/2016 09:38

Anyone seen any good craft things suitable for a 9yr old boy?

I can't do the clickly links but I ordered this for dd, it's a mermaid outfit for a Barbie doll, really good quality. £2.08 free delivery.
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01HF2VGP8/ref=ya_st_dp_summary

There are some more outfits that look like the Disney princess dresses if anyone would like links? They are from china but really good quality and so cheap. Delivery was pretty quick too.

Pilko Home Bargains have little make your own wind-up animals for £1. My DS is 11 so a little older than yours but it was super easy to do and it actually works really well. Or how about Origami paper and a book or origami ideas? Or just an Origami book with paper included? My DS is slightly obsessed at the minute and we have Origami things all over the house! He started with easy things and now that he has the hang of it he is making really intricate boxes, balls, decorations etc. He got a big book recently in a garden centre which had a ton of paper in it and loads of instructions - think it was £6 and it's kept him busy for the last month and he's still loads to get through - definitely a good buy.

PilkoPumpPants · 11/11/2016 09:47

PilkoPumpPants · 11/11/2016 09:48

ReluctantCamper · 11/11/2016 09:48

I bought my hard to buy for mum a 3 month subscription of flowers from bloom and wild for her birthday, it cost £45.

She's just rung to say that the second lot of flowers have arrived and they're in perfect condition (they come through the post) and look beautiful. Could be an idea for people who have everything?

They've also just emailed me to say that I can refer a friend for them to receive a £10 discount, and I would receive a £5 credit. If you'd like to use this pm me as you have to enter my name when you check out . Also don't forget cash back!

PilkoPumpPants · 11/11/2016 09:49

Ah sorry the Cinderella link was wrong!

this one should work.

pantherfootballforever · 11/11/2016 09:50

This is the book we got in the garden centre Pilko - I just looked again and it was actually £7 but def still a bargain. Can't see it available online anywhere but might be worth checking places like garden centres or The Works as it's the kind of thing you'd find in therw

PilkoPumpPants · 11/11/2016 10:00

panther Brilliant thank you for the linkGrin

CurriedEggs · 11/11/2016 10:01

I've seen a great personalised book for kids with pets from a company called Petlandia. It would be perfect for DD. However having been on these threads I really don't want to pay full price. I've signed up to their mailing list etc but nothing forthcoming- by any chance, would anyone have a discount code for them?
Thanks
