starrynight19 · 13/11/2016 13:46

For anyone loooking for hampers both the Range and Aldi had them in when I was in there this morning.

I would love to decorate my tree with gin baubles Grin

pantherfootballforever · 13/11/2016 13:53

What are you people doing to me?!?! I was done but now I NEED a train to go around my bloody tree!

starrynight19 · 13/11/2016 13:59

My John Lewis Buster the boxer just arrived dd will love him.

bettythebuilder · 13/11/2016 14:21

Bonnieweelass Grin at ding dong merrily I'm high!

Youcantscaremeihavechildren Turkish themed, lidl, Aldi and home Bargains all have nice boxes of Turkish delight (dd loves 'em, strange kid Smile so she gets some in her stocking every year) and TKMaxx have some really lovely turkish style glass lanterns for tealights in various sizes ranging from about a fiver up to £15 or so for large ones, I've put them on my Christmas List!
For the inlaws, I went to Home Bargains on Friday & they have lovely gardening gifts in... I'm a gardener, and would be very happy with a tin for storing seeds in (it's like the big tin here but was only about £2.99). HB had a lovely chimenea (sp?!) too.

My request...I've seen a joke coffee mug pictured on fb that says "Leeds United supporter's mug... put a goldfish in it and pretend you've won something" but it wasn't for sale, just a joke picture on a forum for the Football team I support. I've decided this would be the perfect present for dh who unfortunately supports Leeds Grin but can't find them to buy anywhere. Has anyone seen anything like this, or know somewhere where I could get a mug printed myself?

confuugled1 · 13/11/2016 14:21

Ableseaman when ds2 was little he had these Galt Octons which slot together to make things which he loved and which many other dc that visited have locked onto, to the point that we probably have 3 boxes worth of them now in order to make bigger things and replace the ones that schoollost when he took them i. For show and tell.

They are currently £7 but have gone down much lower.

OhHolyFuck · 13/11/2016 14:36

alabasterangel I'd love a code if there's still one spare

LemonLime11 · 13/11/2016 14:45

Mine are still Minion mad so just picked up this fab bargain on Amazon, the Supervillain Jet reduced from £39.99 to £13.99, I remember seeing this built up somewhere when the film first came out and it is bigger than I was expecting!

EmGee · 13/11/2016 14:47

Micro Maxi Scooters - I just tried the JoJo code mentioned upthread MTK62 (15% off) on a maxi micro scooter for 99.95. It worked and the price came down to 84.95 inc delivery. That makes it cheaper than buying via the German site.
I thought their codes excluded micro scooters but obviously not??
Unless they cancel the order. Will wait and see.

EmGee · 13/11/2016 14:48

The above code is only valid until midnight 13th Nov though!

Highfivethatfart · 13/11/2016 14:56

Hope you can read the detail in the picture about the joules sale.

Youcantscareme- similar in laws in my family, what about some posh olive oil or balsamic vinegar or other posho food? Usually goes down well with foodies in my family who are difficult to buy for.

Thanks to poster who recommended dancer stuff, I have just bought dd some leg warmers for her stocking. Just need a chocolate orange and I reckon she is done! On to the teenage boys and DH Confused

gaggiagirl · 13/11/2016 15:16

bonnie there's a Molton brown code in the OP. There's a really good offer code at the body shop just go onto their site it gives the code and the t&cs on the home page. Bodyshop always has a code on the go!

klassy · 13/11/2016 15:19

Had mild hysterics at that loud and proud declaration bonnieweelass Grin

aunicornisnotjustforchristmas · 13/11/2016 15:30

I'm trying desperately hard to resist the marshmallows but just keep thinking how awesome they will be on Christmas Eve... must resist ... must resist .... must resist

GiraffeAHolic · 13/11/2016 15:31

I recently got little live birds from
Argos for £2.99 each, might be worth a look.

confuugled1 · 13/11/2016 15:33

Youcantscareme depending on how turkish you want to go - if you do a search on ebay for something along the lines of belly dancing belt wrap scarf there are loads for less than £2 depending on colour, decoration etc. Just sort your results to show lowest price including postage and the cheapest ones will be at the top.

But could provide some fun to instantly turkish-ify an outfit in the moment and then go into a dressing up box if needs be

lazzaroo · 13/11/2016 15:35

Just a word of warning about getting Hatchimals from Very.....they are getting a lot of grief on their Facebook page for not actually honouring orders of them. They seem to be taking the orders (& money) then realising they don't have sufficient stock and cancelling the orders but refunds then taking 10 days.

OnTheEdgeOfItAll · 13/11/2016 15:35

*update to Kids Bargain World!
I bought an age 3 tracksuit that says height 110cm, it's not big enough for average sized 2 year old. Hat says up to age 4, no chance of it fitting 2 year old. Apparently this is the customer changing their mind(!)
I would not recommend them. Please don't waste your money.

confuugled1 · 13/11/2016 15:37

aunicorn Lakeland have make your own marshmallow kits for £3 which look good (I have bought as a present or activity so not opened them yet) if you dont want to splurge lots on getting some delivered. Then you can make it or set the dc to make it and feel all virtuous when you eat it!

bonnieweelass · 13/11/2016 15:43

cringing stupid false nails making me type things wrong

the molton brown code in the OP sseems to have expired

BicycleMadeForTwo · 13/11/2016 15:47

I love the marshmallow toasting kit but can't justify the price. Just gonna make a little box up with marshmallows and a burner/candle and skewers and save myself the money to put towards wine!

Mother of the year award goes to me.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 13/11/2016 15:52

Train people, b and m had a nice chunky one for 26. Not as nice as the Hornby one but a lot cheaper. I was tempted but resisted.
Secondly - gin present- I'm mad on gin, love trying new ones. If I got an unusual one rather than a gin gift set I'd be thrilled. They have a good range in Waitrose and obviously there are tons online. My current favourite is Ophir. Hotel Chocolate even sell a gin- they have more voucher codes than most.
