Elc have a 3 for 2 on loads of toys at the moment, very good for the younger ones!

IHeartKingThistle · 12/11/2016 23:09

I can't remember, sorry!

Or for siblings I'm a big fan of getting them all t shirts / jumpers with their initial on. Don't know who does those at the moment though- ASDA did last year but I haven't seen them this year.

AmyAmoeba · 12/11/2016 23:11

If you have a train going round the Christmas tree you really need a wooden floor and not carpet for it to work properly or a train that isn't cheap plastic tat
And at the risk of confusing this with the poncetastic thread, wrap a couple of empty boxes and cut out tunnels to make it look extra sweet.

IHeartKingThistle · 12/11/2016 23:16

I have the Hornby Christmas train on my wishlist but at £40 I very much doubt I will get it! But now I want to wrap boxes and cut out tunnels!

confuugled1 · 12/11/2016 23:37

Eco there's also a Superdry outlet store on ebay which often has good bargains on it. I usually just google it or type superdry outlet into the ebay search bar.

Sorry forgot who mentioned about play doh that doesn't go brown. I went to Xmas gift fair last week and they had jumping clay which is primary colours and mixes really well, it also dries to a clay without oven.

I bought the 142 pieces of mini Pokemon figures and they're really good quality but I need something to store them in. I was thinking of buying one but of the card tins but I'm not sure how big they are and if they'd fit, can anybody advise if a card tin would be big enough.

Thank you ⛄️🎄

RJnomore1 · 13/11/2016 00:11

Jumping clay is great.

frauleinsallybowles · 13/11/2016 00:34

frauleinsallybowles · 13/11/2016 00:37

MinnowAndTheBear · 13/11/2016 00:47

Can anyone tell me where I can find dark chocolate Terry's chocolate oranges? I know they exist and the packaging is red instead of the usual blue, but I can't remember where I have seen them before.
Thanks!

confuugled1 · 13/11/2016 00:52

minnow round here all the supermarkets have them in as standard next to the ones in blue boxes.

Sainsburys currently have them for £1 instead of £1.50 or £1.95.

My local Poundland also often has them in.

sandgrown · 13/11/2016 00:59

Just tried the Burts Bees code but it says temporarily unavailable??

ElzBelz · 13/11/2016 01:07

Last year Superdry did a different offer every (i think) day, I knew what I wanted and it was just a case of waiting and checking until it came on offer. I think it was 20 or 30% off my item in the end.

MinnowAndTheBear · 13/11/2016 01:11

confuugled thank you! My local Tesco only has the milk choc ones, so I will make a pilgrimage to Sainsbury's.

ElzBelz · 13/11/2016 01:41

Oh and whoever was looking for paw patrol bargains there was lots of there stuff with yellow reduced shelf tags in asda when I was in through the week though don't remember specific prices I think the big soft toys were £10, £6 for the nightlights and they had loads of characters and vehicles etc too

SweetPeaPods · 13/11/2016 02:27

RoastieToastieReastie · 13/11/2016 07:36

I wonder if they're doing the popping candy chocolate oranges again this year.

We've invested in the massive playmobil castle for DS and read all the advice about assembling before the big day. Any ideas on how you then wrap the assembled monstrosity gift?!

TobleroneBoo · 13/11/2016 07:52

reastie they are certainly doing the popping candy share bags, saw some yesterday in poundland or world, one of them

woodwaj · 13/11/2016 07:55

Notenough maybe cut one side off a box wrap it up and place it over the castle?! That's about as creative as I get Xmas Wink

TobleroneBoo · 13/11/2016 07:55

reindeer our local garden center was selling trains, so if you have a fairly large one nearby it may be worth checking them out. I really wanted one but with two kittens I think that will just send them overboard

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/11/2016 07:58

Notenough I usually put it in place on Xmas eve then drape with loads of wrapping paper so all sides are covered. Defo put together first though.

SheStoodInTheStorm · 13/11/2016 08:02

Reastie I got bought a bag of those as part of my birthday presents!

RoastieToastieReastie · 13/11/2016 08:31

Oh good, dh likes the popping candy version. I've bought carex chocolate orange handwash for my self for my stocking Grin
