Please can I ask does anyone have a discount code for seasalt? I would be so grateful as getting my mum a coat and it is very spendy. Thank you in advance.

Nursenat100 · 12/11/2016 12:27

Ontheedge, no. Quite a few of us ordered an item from Amazon at a good price. They are having problems supplying it. Another mumsnetter contacted Amazon and was resold the item at a higher price and the difference compared to the original price refunded by Amazon. I know they don't usually do this, but they have in this case. However, they now won't do it for me and others who have contacted them about it. Absolutely shocking, you can't treat customers differently according to how you feel at the time!

JDSTER · 12/11/2016 12:34

Living try ET10PP for 10% off Seasalt

livinginhope87 · 12/11/2016 12:39

Thank you for trying JDSTER but that code has expired.

If anyone else has a seasalt code then I would be very grateful.

OnTheEdgeOfItAll · 12/11/2016 12:40

Oh, I see. Maybe it is something they can do as an exception but the if lots of people are trying to get the same thing... I can see your point though.
I find it very annoying when companies sell something they are unable to supply

Vintage1980 · 12/11/2016 13:11

Hi
Re the Barbie Glam /Amazon...
I e-mailed customer services. They were helpful and explained why the item had changed on my order screen (to table and chairs) but suggested I cancel and re-order. I had pasted a bit into my email from my original order e-mail with the item and price.
I said I wasn't happy to reorder an item for >£40 that I had originally agreed to pay £11.99 for. They then offered to refund me the difference.

Batbear · 12/11/2016 13:13

I missed a parcel today and was all excited about a nice Red goodie bag. Having now caught up on the new thread i am less thrilled.

I also have a next £20 voucher if anyone wants the code.

kavvLar · 12/11/2016 13:16

Can I ask what route you all took to get the red goodie bag? I subscribed through Hearst magazines last week - I thought I was far too late to the party but sure enough there were goody bags. Assuming they will be the same?

SitsOnFence · 12/11/2016 13:20

Verytiredmummy, we bought some of the Hello Kitty Unico duplo-style sets when the DC were going through their Hello Kitty stage. The quality is nearly as good as Duplo and it's all completely compatible. I don't know if the RRPs are much lower than duplo, but you often see sets heavily reduced on Amazon. It's worth a look.

SitsOnFence · 12/11/2016 13:21

(If you type 'unico' into Amazon and filter to 'toys', lots should come up)

woodwaj · 12/11/2016 13:34

So my naked marshmallow order arrived yesterday. Opened it this morning and it contains 1 kit instead of the 4 i ordered but the one received was the smores kit instead of just the regular toasting ones! So its all gone tits up but customer services messaged because within an hour via Facebook to apologise and resend the kits i didn't receive. The kit i did receive i was allowed to keep foc. So great customer service if not slow and incorrect delivery!! Here's the kit itself. It does look great and id be chuffed to receive it

Yes Kavvlar via a link here to Hearst.

I did buy myself the M&S advent calendar this week which was a very naughty treat but i'm glad i did!

LBOCS2 · 12/11/2016 13:37

I'm sure this has been done before (but I think in previous years) but can anyone suggest some board games for a 3/4yo? DD1 comes and 'helps' while DH and I are playing Scrabble and ideally I'd get something age appropriate we can play with her so she doesn't keep mucking up my tiles...

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 12/11/2016 13:40

Hivefive those crackers were £12 last yr we brought at £6 on half price

gaggiagirl · 12/11/2016 13:45

I'll join in with the grumbles..... My M&S advent calendar has not been dispatched but the other item I purchased at the same time has been. So I'll receive my £35 jumper on Tuesday but no calendar. Well that just sucks!!! ( I am aware that I don't need it til 1/12 but that's not the point)

eyebrowsonfleek · 12/11/2016 13:59

LBOCS2 Orchard Games are great for pre-schoolers. I'd give Snakes and Ladders or Memory a go too.

confuugled1 · 12/11/2016 14:01

I've just gone to get the Spode Christmas mugs as DH realised his favourite mug has broken today... And they are now £20 a pair instead of £8 a pair - and although that's still a saving it's not cheap enough. Xmas Sad

If people are into the Spode Christmas stuff they now have lots of it available - including whole sets - discounts of between 20 to 50%.

Also can someone remind me of the pyjama people please - I've forgotten and ds wants world of gum ball pj's that I don't think I've seen locally so thought they might have some...

pantherfootballforever · 12/11/2016 14:01

To whoever it was who was asking about the NES classic mini - Smyths are still showing it as being available 21-28th Nov (estimated), but there is no pre-order option so I guess you just have to keep refreshing and hoping for the best. It looks like it will be available on click and collect so if it works out then that might work for you. (And me!)

However - I am not confident it will be as straightforward as that! Game are sold out and their second batch which is due in on 22nd Nov is also sold out. They are awaiting more info from Nintendo as to when more will become available but can't guarantee it will be before Christmas. According to the manny in our local shop today they were still taking pre-orders for the second batch yesterday but they are all gone now. I am frustrated because I tried to pre-order online when they suddenly appeared back on the website yesterday (or Thursday - my days are all mixed up this week) and it wasn't possible. I opened a chat thingy and was told they weren't taking anymore pre-orders, but clearly they were in store! Angry

Nintendo website says more stock available in December which doesn't fill me with much hope for getting one before Christmas. I am kicking myself for not just pre-ordering one ages ago when I first saw them - I couldn't make up my mind and didn't even think that I could order it and then still return it! Duh!

On the upside - if you can manage to get hold of one - the guy in Game today had his one on display and said he's really pleased with it, and it does look good.

sherbertdibdab · 12/11/2016 14:04

My other M&S item arrived yesterday, and the calendar was dispatched yesterday afternoon so I think the postal dates are a bit conservative. However not going to open it until the 1st of December so it doesn't really matter!

SideOrderofChip · 12/11/2016 14:06

German hatchimal

If anyone is desperate for a hachtimal you can buy off of the German Amazon. Should be here by 1st of december. Postage is about £6. Works out at 52€ (around £46)

Oh and they're in stock.

Duchessofealing · 12/11/2016 14:11

confuugled - my local tk maxx has the Spode mugs for £3.99 each - not boxed though

mightyducks · 12/11/2016 14:15

Anyone spotted a deal on Skylanders imaginations? DS has it on his Xmas list

lucysmam · 12/11/2016 14:16

Hello folks :)

I'm hoping one of you might be able to link me to some dirt cheap Minecraft figures from ebay/amazon to pop on dd2's birthday cake next month please?

ladylambkin · 12/11/2016 14:16

Superdrug have Victoria Secret body sprays on 3 for 2 with a free clear wash bag ....normally £10 each... £20 for 3

torthecatlady · 12/11/2016 14:26

The marshmallow set looks like a great gift. Was there a deal or discount that I missed for it?
