The poster who wrote about Victoria's secret smellies, can you link them, I cant find it online?

Im also looking to do a photo canvas for the in laws, anyone seen any codes?

SheStoodInTheStorm · 12/11/2016 09:57

Apparently this year's Jojo event (10% off for all this weekend, you get a scratch card if you have an invite for further discount) includes Micro Scooters!

Shufflebum · 12/11/2016 09:57

Do you think it's worth getting the Mumsnet Kindle Fire deal or should I hold out for Black Friday?

confuugled1 · 12/11/2016 09:58

Ihatethecold if you look on the money saving expert site, they have a page rounding up all current photo deals.

Sorry I'm on my phone and it doesn't show links but it comes up easil on Google!

My red magazine goody bag just arrived- I am alos disappointed. I got a self tanning set and the anti dundruff stuff. I don't do self tanning so won't use that. Will use the shampoo and contitioner but not exactly luxurious! I was hoping for some stuff like the poster got who posted many threads back- lovely candle, bagsy lipbalm, bagsy hairbrush etc. Still I guess the value is way more than £6 and thats what you get for going for a 'goody bag' when you have no idea what its going to include.

winterisnigh · 12/11/2016 10:11

Nursenat100 · 12/11/2016 10:17

Vintage how the hell did you get Amazon to do that? I've been on for an hour and a half and they are point blank refusing. I screenshotted your post and this was their response

Another disappointing Red goody bag here. Dandruff stuff plus a bronzer and make up brush. Very annoying as I don't wear makeup or have anyone to give the stuff to, plus can hardly regift dandruff shampoo!

lionsleepstonight · 12/11/2016 10:24

rogl Argos have some offers on their Xmas trees so you may get a 6ft in your budget. Lots of different styles.

ihatethecold · 12/11/2016 10:26

Thanks Starry, i cant believe the price of them full price!

verytiredmummy1 · 12/11/2016 10:41

Does anyone know anywhere except pound land that does own brand versions of duplo. DD is obsessed but duplo is so expensive!

Thekidsthatpukedxmas · 12/11/2016 10:47

Use code WINTER40 at Book People for £5 off a £30 spend or £8 off a £40 spend

Follyfoot · 12/11/2016 10:47

Dotcom gift shop have some good reductions in their sale here

I bought the kneeling pad for MiL last year, and it is really nice quality. Some nice vintage style decorations too.

Avebury · 12/11/2016 10:58

Why is the fire 6 more expensive than the 8? Makes no sense to me unless it's an inflated price to make the discount seem good

Gooseysgirl · 12/11/2016 11:20

Also received my Red goody bag this morning - same as everyone else... anti-dandruff hair stuff (I will use) and tanning stuff (won't use). Am guessing the Neom stuff went to the earliest subscribers (of which I thought I was one!!!) then Red saw a surge in their subscriptions and had to scramble for freebies from other cosmetics companies..

JDSTER · 12/11/2016 11:25

Vintage and Nurse. I've tried with Amazon re Barbie glam getaway house. I ended up speaking to customer services. The guy was really helpful and went off and asked a supervisor if they could price match and the answer was no unfortunately. He was very apologetic but still no house Sad
I'd love to know how you managed it Vintage!

Synths have £10 off a £50 spend on Lego with code LEGO online and free delivery on Lego orders too.

OnTheEdgeOfItAll · 12/11/2016 12:12

I've finally received my kids bargain world stuff, and it is awful. The sizes are ridiculously small, I bought age 3 (supposedly 110cm) for 2 yr old nephew and there is absolutely no way the jumper will go near him. Looks more like it would fit 15 month old nephew, but they would never put it on him. It is very 'nylon' feeling, not the sweatshirt style hoody that it looks like.
I also bought a hat supposed to be up to age 4, but won't fit 2 year old.
I am so disappointed with all bar one item. I would not recommend anyone buying from them. Items take 4 - 6 weeks, returns will be a nightmare and no chance of changing an item in time if you were happy with quality and just wanted to change the size. They also only publish positive reviews...

OnTheEdgeOfItAll · 12/11/2016 12:13

I've missed a bit Nursenat, have you already bought an item that you want amazon to price match?

AmyAmoeba · 12/11/2016 12:14

Feeling a bit Hmm. Just gave my octonaut obsessed niece a satisfyingly priced Gup I only to find it's a very cheap version of what is advertised on the website. There's no sound effects, no extendable legs, no snowball launcher or extra small vehicle and it comes with a penguin instead of a seal. At first as she was cheerfully unpacking it and telling me all this I thought that she was describing what she had seen it do on the program. She wasn't even complaining, just telling me that the other one she had seen was different. But then I looked at the Smyths website and realised that the one they advertise is exactly what she described and what I bought was complete rubbish. Rang them and they were very nice and they said there would be no problem exchanging it, but lovely niece doesn't want to give back "Bertha" and declared that penguins are much nicer than seals.

To be fair it is very clear on the box what is inside and the packaging looks perfectly genuine. but I would never have suspected that there would be more than one version of the toy, or that I might need to pay more attention. now I'm worrying what else might be in my stash that doesn't match the kids expectations. And realising with a sinking heart that I should pay more attention to those boring unboxing videos that DS keeps nagging me to watch

Mortifying because my DB knows Im a cheapskate I live a bargain, and I did get it for a good price. but if I were buying on aliexpress or even eBay I'd have been checking it very carefully to make sure it wasn't a knockoff, I didn't think I needed to shop like that in Smyths.

Apologies if I'm lowering the tone of the thread but on the off chance anyone else has bought a gup i they could be in for a potential disappointment, so no harm to check.
