Xmas Grin I was thinking this morning "Oooh in five months I can start The Advent Tree and the Advent Calender I'm going to treat myself to this year"...

T'other day, I cheered myself up with hot chocolate (i'm on very limited dairy but I thought Rats, I'm having that and pondered the Festive Drinks at Costa and Starbucks

SideOrderofChip · 01/07/2016 16:40

HairsprayBabe · 01/07/2016 19:12

Aroma uk have the yankee advent calenders on sale atm...

I may treat my self to one for this year🎅🎅🎅

HeyManIJustWantSomeMuesli · 01/07/2016 21:27

Are Aroma UK online? I will clearly be needing one of those advent calendars.
I was humming a Christmas tune (can't remember what now) in the car the other morning and DS said 'daddy wouldn't like you singing that yet' Grin

Xmas Grin

I ordered some great gift bags from John Lewis yesterday...the words 'clearance sale' are so enticing! Xmas Smile

ConstantlyCooking · 02/07/2016 09:59

Belated thanks for the stocking lists Biddy. I do stockings for DC and it gets hard thinking of presents for teens/post teens.
Things have been manic at work the last few weeks but now I can jump back on board! I need to investigate the bargain thread as my Pre-Christmas prep usually starts now ( I start making flavoured drinks/crafting/ ordering cheap stuff from China)

HairsprayBabe · 02/07/2016 18:50

Me neither Chip

I've really been trying to hold off getting too excited (dunno why) but the grey weather is not helping!

SideOrderofChip · 05/07/2016 09:16

Its a very autumnal feel right now. I have to keep reminding myself its July

Ratbagcatbag · 05/07/2016 13:00

Some of my bargains from the Xmas thread have arrived and have made their way into my Xmas stash. I'm feeling super excited.

Ratbag The xmas stash is definitely good thing - though if they're especially good gifts, I always want to give them now early!

SideOrderofChip · 07/07/2016 09:21

if you go on twitter search the hashtag #tescocij

Its all the Tesco Christmas in July stuff Xmas Grin

Ratbagcatbag · 07/07/2016 09:50

Mims - I agree, and then I worry if they don't like it I have zero chance of sending it back. Oh well.

mimsnet · 07/07/2016 13:40

Chips This is fantastic! I think M&S have their Christmas food preview soon, too...Xmas Smile

Ratbag Agreed - that can be such a pain. However, it can be quickly remedied by eating mince pies laced with brandy butter and, suddenly, everyone's happy again Xmas Grin

Paperblank · 07/07/2016 17:14

It's bleak and dull here in Bucks so I'm snuggled on the sofa with M, she's asleep, I've got the Gilmore Girls on in the background and pinning lots of ideas for Christmas.

I feel all warn and fuzzy inside Xmas Grin

Into the one hundred and sixties.

M&S Christmas Food you say............................ I love the ideas they have , last year they did a really innovative Penguin Cake.
I bought a The Snowman cake a few years ago, broke my heart to plunge a knife into him (worth it though, he was delicious) Xmas Grin

I have a bunch of ornament keys, garden ornaments, bought from Home Bargains for £5. There's 5 on a ring
Plan is to spray them gold , add gems and ribbon and hang on the door as Santa Keys .
My DC will be 14.6 and 17. They'll be Xmas Hmm ...........
