Not a lot done this weekend, but it is a nice sunny day and I feel like "peace on earth and goodwill to all men" type of morning for a change!!

Counting down to half century has replaced Christmas for a few weeks so may be absent for a few days Grin

Absent Xmas Shock

You'll need to tip us off when the Big 5-0 is so we can all whisper quietly afterwards --in case you are all tired and emotional

I have my Big 5-0 in June, not made any plans as yet but having a Family Get Together, late forrin holiday (DH also 50 this year) and a trip to the Beauty Salon and theatre.

My DD has her birthday a couple of weeks later so June is a busy month. (And ££)

I like numbers that have pattern (sad git Xmas Grin )

I watched a QVC hour about candles (Yankee) love them all year round but especially at Christmas.
Now thinking seriosly about being 50 soon and Life Changing Things.
Running a marathon isn't one of them.

Constantly I am blaming you for my poorly head this morning. I had two glasses of prosecco and a glass of wine last night. It wasn't because I was at my friends housewarming party, oh no, it was because it was your birthday!

lollyj84 · 25/04/2016 18:56

I ordered polar express bells Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 25/04/2016 21:11

Ooooh nice (they're in a little gift box aren't they, I'm trying to remember the film where he finds the bell under the tree)

DH and I were shopping in January, there was a bell covered tree ornament.
I shook it and said:

Teacher says "Every time a bell rings, an Angel gets it's wings"

A woman looked at me like I was touched (Not Touched By An Angel)
DH was Hmm , not even Xmas Hmm , just Hmm

Very Xmas Envy at Christmas Shop, there was one near Tooley Street that's gone now. And Christmas Angels in York was up for sale a while ago, hope it's still there.

Sorry about your head PaperGrin. I had a fabulous weekend. For the first two days being 50 involved presents, flowers and bubbles! It was too good to be true and so back to work today.
(I did spend lots of my birthday cooking but - in my defence - I was also bopping around the kitchen to 80s music and have to live up to my nameGrinGrinGrin

70 why don't you buy the xmas shop? I would come and work for you. We would have a great time. Not sure what my DH would say about moving to york though.
