We pretty much do the same thing every year.

Cinema in the morning
Christingle Service in the afternoon, then home where the elves have left new PJ's and a DVD.
Party tea whilst watching DVD
Sprinkle reindeer dust, read 'The Night Before Christmas' and then sort out a mince pie for F.C and children to bed.

We've checked the cinema near us, and none of us really fancy anything thats on. DC are 7 & 5.

Inspire me with what you do to make the day fun for the little people.

I'm working until 6, then got a 40 mile round trip to pick dd up from her grandparents

Chinese takeaway for tea, an hour or so to tidy up sorry neighbours but I will be hoovering at 9 tonight, it was either that or 6:30 this morning and I thought that was the lesser of 2 evils

Might fall asleep on the sofa around 10 and hopefully remember to put presents under the tree before I crawl into bed

Dh is working but he works from home and it will be quiet from lunch time.
Ds and I will make trifle and pavlova and cook the ham. The weather is vile with pouring rain and gusty winds so dog walk we would normally do is not looking hopeful. Have a bit of last minute wrapping to do too.
Crib service at 4pm with Dd, her husband and my grandson. My other Dd will still be at work :(
Then home for movie and honey mustard sausages and mash, some Prosecco , get Ds to bed after hanging all the stockings ( grandson 1st Xmas!) then just relax with more Prosecco and choccies!

Iborgia- glad you're home and feeling a bit better. I hope your Christmas is relaxing and wonderful.

Also going to the cinema taking ds 4 to see the good dinosaur, dh gone out with his best chums for breakfast so ds and I going to play mousetrap which he got for his bday.

Going to crib service at 5 then will get ds to bed ASAP as he's been up since 5.30 with Christmas Eve fever. Haven't thought about dinner yet

Have a good one everyone

Rather a nice one this morning. I am interviewing someone for a job so I hope I can give them a very merry Christmas as they are unemployed at the moment having taken time out to raise 3 children.

Don't you all do lovely things. Dart moor for holly? Cinema?

Just an ordinary day here. Going to see mum in care home. Then a friend with his present. Then out for a nice meal with DH and then to a friend's with her prezzie.

At some point put the whipped cream on the gluten free trifle I made yesterday and ice the gluten free cakes.

I'd rather be on dart moor though!

We've had a lazy morning so far all still in PJ's and DH has even managed to squeeze in a power nap!

I'm now going to have a very long shower (big treat) as DH is off work today and can look after DS (2.5) then will get the ham on for tonight's dinner and bake some cinnamon biscuits.

This afternoon will be watching Arthur Christmas and final prep and tidy so I don't have to do anything at all once DS is in bed this evening.

I am at work desperately hoping boss will send me home soon so I can pack, tidy and clean before heading off to ILs this pm. I will then start drinking as soon as possible to get my blood alcohol to the necessary level to deal with prolonged exposure to DH's entire family. (who are lovely but v hard to deal with en masse).
