Anorak have another sale on! Haven't seen any discount codes though Smile.

RoastieToastieReastie · 08/01/2016 14:54

Went to my local wait rose and they had the fancy Heston mince pies reduced to 30p a pack. I paid about 10 times that much before Christmas! Bought three packs.

I had an email today saying that Tesco direct are going to start charging £2 for click and collect orders under £30! I know it isn't a huge amount but it all adds up. grrr

ThatsNotMyHouseItIsTooClean · 09/01/2016 19:30

The play doh advent calendar is half price on Amazon at the moment so only £7.99. Having previously had play doh tubs unopened for over a year, I don't think you'd need to worry about the play doh drying out or anything before next Xmas.

Raided my local boots today. Got a Elmo soft you, little people Cinderella play set, Playmobil Santa set, and lots of other bits. Now I need to find somewhere to hide them!

RoastieToastieReastie · 10/01/2016 07:48

I git that email too littlenick, it's annoying as I rarely get stuff from tesco direct but when I do it's usually small bits.

Went to sainsburys and they had discount on clothing and in a corner slightly separate they had a big rack of women's clothes all down to £1! I got a dress that was £20 for £1.

Has anyone had problems with the dragon touch tablets ? Got one each for the dds, one has cracked screen without being dropped/trodden on etc, one won't charge with the charger..
The other one is fine but I would like to return all three to Amazon. Anyone know if I'll get very far with that ?
wood yes please to the chalk pen link if you still have

Mipe · 11/01/2016 07:52

nickdrakeslovechild · 11/01/2016 21:09

Mipe I got that email so thought it was worth it for £1, except as I have prime I got it on the no rush delivery with £1 credit so as I was about to buy a book anyway it was free Grin

Mipe · 12/01/2016 08:08

Nick I didn't know you could do that, missed out on £1 credit! Smile

nickdrakeslovechild · 12/01/2016 15:04

Yes you can do that on any amazon prime deliveries. It automatically sets to the standard next day to delivery so you have to change it in there. I have had about £20 of free books doing this!

woodwaj · 13/01/2016 14:49

Went to my local boots today it was madness!!

HortonWho · 13/01/2016 17:41

Oh noo woodwaj, did it start today? I read it was meant to be every 3rd Wednesday in January so thought it was next week. Doh.

woodwaj · 13/01/2016 22:47

I thought it was Friday. It was a good way to clear out the stock. It was the sort of thing you see on black Friday I totally didn't expect it. Women had their husbands sat on the floor protecting baskets full of overflowing shopping and the queues for the till went close to the back of the shop! It looked like our shop had all the sale items from other shops brought to it because it is a big store!

RoastieToastieReastie · 16/01/2016 19:00

Went to our local boots yesterday and they have 70% off Christmas stuff. Dh got a few men's sets with deodorant and shower gel for £1.90 which is a lot cheaper than buying them any other way.
