Neddle - I use kitchencalendar.co.uk quite basic but you can customise special dates.

ILoveWoollyStuff · 18/12/2015 20:26

Something, topcashback give you 5.25% on Smiggle, otherwise this from crafty arts looks similar at £8

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 18/12/2015 20:28

Bugger - I need to get a gift card for my uncle. He is 52 and has lost his job so is skint. He likes music but I don't know if he has an iPod - I always used to get HMV vouchers but not sure what to do. He isn't a reader. Should I just do Amazon?

RoastieToastieReastie · 18/12/2015 20:35

I agree, 'Father Christmas needs a wee' is great. DD is 4 and has had the book a couple of years and really likes it still.

Love the idea of a where's wally party!

Serenite I love uniqlo heattech which are on offer at £9.90 at the mo, for layering.

If you want to spend a bit more I can thoroughly recommend Me and Em they have a couple in the sale for £24, and I have honestly never ever found a more comfortable material/cut, they make lovely layers or on their own.

Or Hush do one called 'second skin' which I love nearly as much as my me&em ones, they are £30 (not on offer yet)

DeloresDeSyn · 18/12/2015 21:01

If anyone need something musical MRJ1112 gives a £5 off £30 spend at Musicroom

Plus they have free delivery and 12% on quidco. Lots of music gifts- mugs, stationery etc, not just instruments.

woodwaj · 18/12/2015 21:29

bunch if he's lost his job I think if prefer a voucher for a supermarket? They sell cds etc if he wants one but I'm on nil pay maternity and I'd love a free food shop!

SomethingOfTheNight · 18/12/2015 21:38

Thank you ILove Xmas Smile.

I've since found this Smiggle code in case it helps anyone else, it's for 20% off - 20OFFSWEETUK. I've not tried it yet so hope it works when I place my order tomorrow as their website won't let me register on my stupid bloody phone

frazzled74 · 18/12/2015 22:35

Can anyone help me find a 2016 Minecraft calendar?

IAmAPaleontologist · 19/12/2015 15:19

If anyone doing any last min looking then lidl had loads of fab things at the moment, brilliant looking science sets including palaeontology ones, a set where you can build various moving things with a solar panel to power them and some fab miles Kelly books, one on animals and one on science. They are really, really good books. Dd bought the animals one with her pocket money. If the dc hadn't been with me I'd have twitched, I really wanted to buy stuff for them!

sproingle · 19/12/2015 22:14

Has anyone cracked open the Brewhive beer? DH doesn't like it much - shame, as I like the Pale Brew and may have to drink it all. We are giving nine bottles as gifts, but may have to give some more away if he is going to pull faces about it.

NeedSomePeaceAndQuite · 20/12/2015 17:55

Thank you cool that could be a good alternative if I can't find the other one

I know book ridiculous price, smyths have been doing it half price but can't find a store that has one and I'd be willing to travel to get but paying the £70 is steep but none of the Argos I search for have it either

Penguinbeaver · 20/12/2015 18:01

weebarra · 20/12/2015 18:06

We've tried all the brewhive beers. Very insipid, glad it was just for us.

bookbook · 20/12/2015 18:21
