RJnomore1 · 15/12/2015 10:08

For anyone near an Arran aromatics shop, they're doing an advent offer each day with up to 50% off. I got dh and myself a little half price stocking yesterday. Not sure if it's online too.

XiCi · 15/12/2015 10:54

Could someone please link to the Ladybird book offer. I've trawled the thread but can't seem to find it

iloveblue · 15/12/2015 11:30

filthyrascal just seen this on Amazon deals of the day
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00WREWSMU?ref_=gbps_img_s-3_3127_23393cad&smid=A1P50KRGDFZKGV

neddle · 15/12/2015 11:54

XiCi I'm not sure there was an offer, just that they were funny and good presents for adults.

The Wife, Mid Life Crisis, The Hangover.
You can get them cheaper if you look at the other sellers.

yumyumpoppycat · 15/12/2015 12:11

Oh my goodness how vile is this thread on hot deals - people want amazon to sell out of lego dimensions so they can sell them for more than double rrp. Is it a joke? www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lego-dimensions-starter-pack-nintendo-wii-u-amazon-uk-2-limit-stock-17th-before-2350986

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 15/12/2015 12:12

LOVE those ladybird books, thanks for the link. Very tempted to buy How it works: The Husband
for a friend!

ChristmasEvePJs · 15/12/2015 12:22

Sainsburys have lots and lots of clothes half price!!!

Home Bargains have lovely tin baubles you can fill for 39p each in five different designs with matching A5 size tins for 69p. They also had MLP/Starwars and Frozen sandwich tins from £1.49.

DeloresDeSyn · 15/12/2015 13:10

Fudge thank you! At least I don't have to pay too much for them now!

Sorry to go on but just in case anyone has seen one, I'd really love a Book People code. I have tried about a squigillion different ones and none of them work Xmas Confused

9 sleeps, yay!! We have a countdown board and DD was very happy to write 10 on it today!

Casablanca78 · 15/12/2015 13:49

Have you tried AFREINDEER. Worked for me today for 15% off at the book people.

trixymalixy · 15/12/2015 14:23

yumy i was showing that HUKD thread to DH last night as i was horrified people were profiteering over children's Christmas presents. i hope those that were buying 10+ get stuck with them after Christmas when the price drops.

TobleroneBoo · 15/12/2015 14:36

Mnetters I am calling on you!
DF is getting concert tickets for Christmas and I wanted to wrap them in a box so that when he opened it, confetti sprung out and their song started playing. Really I want one of those glitter bomb type things but I dont think he would forgive me!

Upon research it looks like the only thing I could do is DIY-it and glue party poppers inside the box but I dont think I will.

Would the best thing to do music wise, be to get one of those recordable greetings cards and dismantle it? From Clintons or anywhere else?

Help!!

ThatsHowYouGetAnts · 15/12/2015 14:47

Bit of a bargain here, lambswool mittens for £4.50 with code 15XLW25:

Mittens nice range of colours available.

I just bought them in "Kingfisher". Matching hats and scarves also seem to be double-discounted.

Code works for all lambswool items, if anyone's after a jumper or hat or whatever Xmas Smile

Pickofthepops · 15/12/2015 15:00

Hi did I see a code for hand picked collection? Can't for life of me find it now!!!

RJnomore1 · 15/12/2015 15:04

Sainsburys have a sale on in store. Not sure about online, but my mom picked me up some christmas and winter baby boys clothing, all half price. The Xmas decorations are reduced too. Not sure what else, but might be worth a look. The quality of the clothes in sainsburys is really good! Would probably make quite nice presents.

CadenceRoastingByAnOpenFire · 15/12/2015 19:15

Can anyone help me please? Looking for something for a 12 year old boy, I have three girls so am completely clules! He's a bitfof a gamer/geeky type. Budget around £15, don't want to give vouchers and has to be something I can buy from the shops as opposed to online as I'm seeing his mum Thursday to exchange gifts. Any help would be much appreciated!

HangingBasket they have a lovely wooden doll's bed in ikea, can't remember rhe price sorry but think it was around £10.

Woodwaj, thanks for the advice on the pudding bin bags Xmas Grin. Managed to locate them in home bargains, they were on the bottom shelf obscured from view, had to ask a shop assistant. So if anyone else is looking ask as they may be hiding!

TobleroneBoo · 15/12/2015 19:25

Haha thanks reastie it's to see Coldplay so I thought music / confetti / glowsticks etc would be like being at the concert!

Chillywhippet · 15/12/2015 20:37
