Does anyone know of any kinetic sand bargains? Thanks

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 29/11/2015 13:14

Blimey, I go away for a weekend and you finish the thread!

perfumedlife · 29/11/2015 13:17

Been loving these threads but never looked out for Play Station 4 codes (if such a thing exists) until now when ds suddenly mentioned he wanted one. If anyone knows of any, would be so grateful.

ChillyChillyIcebat · 29/11/2015 13:18

Motion sand £12 for 2KG delivered on ebay same price on amazon.

motion sand is not quite as good a kinetic sand, but there is not much it it just feels slightly more coarse. we have both.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 29/11/2015 13:28

I'm really sorry to bang on about dinosaur pjs but no sainsburys near me have them in stock. If anyone sees them and wouldn't mind sending them I would be soooooo grateful ( and obviously cover postage)

chocbuttons · 29/11/2015 13:29

Thanks for all the tips so far.
Does anyone know if Wilko will do a free home delivery code again this year? I've only got a small item to get from there.
Thanks.

I've just stocked up on Korres shower gel (which I love) at Mankind - it's usually £8+ a bottle, sometimes you get it for £4ish in TK Maxx or debenhams and maybe others have a buy 2 for the price of one pack.

However, Mankind currently have it for £5.33 but it's also 3 for 2 at that price and if you use the code BLACK you get an extra 20% off - plus there's free delivery.

So I got 6 bottles for £17.06, which is pretty much the price of 2 normal bottles and at less than £3 a bottle I can justify it as a normal shower gel whereas at £8 a bottle it's an expensive treat (especially when dh, who also likes it, uses loads at a time because he's used to cheaper stuff that he uses lots of).

I've also got access to a cashback site through dh's work which gave me 7%, I'm guessing other sites would have cashback too...

They have lots of other codes but they didn't stack :-( and 20% was the biggest single code I could find. They had lots of other stuff on offer too but I didn't really look at it as I don't need it and I'm trying hard to only twitch on stuff that I know we'll use!

ShebaQueen best places for really skinny jeans for slim child I've found is H & M, Gap (some styles) or Primark.

Does it need to be a specific type of dinosaur fueled? I just got some for DS from matalan

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather · 29/11/2015 14:10

Did anyone ever get their welcome box from MyGeekBox? I am still waiting.

neddle · 29/11/2015 14:14

No welcome box here :(

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 29/11/2015 14:16

I need Christmas theme and age 2 please

woodwaj · 29/11/2015 14:31

I didn't get my welcome box but I did cancel my subscription and I feel like I won't get it at all because of that. I emailed customer services but they were about as useful as a chocolate teapot

ExasperatedAlmostAlways · 29/11/2015 14:32

Thanks for new thread Reastie.

My kids have announced a few things they'd like. Any ideas for best place to get zoella bath and beauty stuff, chocolate coin maker, a Pandora ring and mens leather ugg slippers for my dad? Thanks.

Reastie · 29/11/2015 14:35

I've heard many bad reviews of the choc coin maker ex, are you sure you want to put yourself through it?!

ja9r I know, I went into a Laura Ashley on Friday as saw a dress online that looked lovely but was not at all nice on and was also exasperated that the changing room had no bench or chair, difficult to change at this time of year with boots on and nowhere to sit down, bloody RL shopping

anyway digressing, have you guys seen Ruth Crilly's aka A Model Recommends winter newsletter and glam night out post? Some offers on there although some are very high end. The one that appealed most was the Nuxe body oil original and gold shimmer one GBP24 for both when one of them alone is usually more than that, plus extra GBP10% off until Monday

www.escentual.com/nuxe/nuxe013/, would make a lovely luxury gift, am looking forward to receiving mine as a gift to myself for all of this exhausting planning and shopping not to mention the wrapping...

balletgirlmum · 29/11/2015 14:43

EnglishRose1320 · 29/11/2015 15:09

Fueled- not exactly right but maybe a back up plan, marks and Spencer have these in stock in a size two, more winter than Christmas, the aurora lights in dinosaur shapes over a wintery scene (not explaining it that well)
www.marksandspencer.com/stay-soft-dinosaur-aurora-print-pyjamas-1-8-years-/p/p22420426

I'm not going to my local sainsburys for a week or so I'm afraid but will check on here and see if you have had any luck before I go. They did have lots in but I was only looking for bigger sizes so didn't notice if they had little ones or not.

EnglishRose1320 · 29/11/2015 15:13

Fueled- marks and sparks also have this 3 pack which comes in age 2 and has a t Rex wearing a Christmas hat and carrying a present.
