Was going to mention the m and s 3 pack, they are lovely

longestlurkerever · 29/11/2015 15:34

Has anyone ever seen a merida magiclip doll for a less than ludicrous price? They're about 3 inches high and have dresses that clip on and off like pegs. Dd adores them and has all the princesses except merida who is apparently "rare".

ShebaQueen · 29/11/2015 15:45

Woodwaj, I'm tempted to twitch on the Lost my Name book, but a bit worried it may be considered "babyish" by a 6 year old who can read quite well for his age - what age do you think it's most suitable for?

Thanks Shesaysso re jeans recommendations.

woodwaj · 29/11/2015 15:47

Just a reminder of my lost my name link as only 1 more needed for my freebie

Also if anyone is yet to buy wrapping paper I normally buy packs from boots 3 for 2 but totally disappointed this year hardly anything on the roll. I had 8 rolls and had no where near enough paper and I wouldn't say I had a ridiculous amount to wrap!

woodwaj · 29/11/2015 15:48

Sheba if they like reading they would prob like it especially because they are star of the book. If you go on the website though you can preview the whole book as it would be for you before you buy it. Have a nosey and see what you think!

veronicasawyerheartsjd · 29/11/2015 15:54

Hi, I saw mentioned a couple of threads ago someone at some point had posted about a bargainous Minecraft magazine deal. Can anyone remember what this was and point me in the right direction?

RosieBdy · 29/11/2015 15:58

ShebaQueen? I think it was, I second H & M for trousers for tall skinny children... It's the only place I can get trousers for my 9 year old that don't end up making him look like a clown, or have a huge bunched up bottom part where you've pulled the elastic through! Let me know if you find any anywhere else though as I'm always searching!

ShebaQueen · 29/11/2015 15:59

Thanks woodwaj, I went for it and used your code

EnglishRose1320 · 29/11/2015 15:59

Hmm thought I was doing really well Christmas shop wise but I have a some big gaps in my present list, any ideas for the following tricky recipients greatfully received.

Nearly 12yr old godson, budget around £10, needs to be portable

Fussy df, can't be any food or drink. Around £20

13yr old girl, although quite young for age around £5

Plus a whole host more but I shan't overwhelme you all with my it's nearly December panic!

RosieBdy · 29/11/2015 16:00

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 29/11/2015 16:21

Is there anyway to get amazing to prove match a board game with Amazon. It's £14 on amazing but only £9 at Argos. It's Frustration and this is frustrating as I need to make my order up to £20!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 29/11/2015 16:21

*Price match

BornToFolk · 29/11/2015 16:25

Thank you Lurleen for the tip about the England tickets and to balletgirlmum for explaining how to get the Family Enclosure ones! I was stuck on how to get the Family Enclosure tickets...

Might also nick someone else's tip of booking a Travelodge nearby to avoid dragging DS home on the train late at night.

He's going to be so excited! Grin

Anyone fancy a MN meetup? Dinner before the game or something? Sounds like there'll be tons of us going!

MarmaladeTeepee · 29/11/2015 16:40

And I'm done! Have already twitched on the bargainous Disney infinity so definitely time for me to bow out before I bankrupt us! Massive thank you to everyone on this thread, I haven't paid full price for a single present thanks to you Flowers

Now to hit the Baileys and start wrapping Xmas Smile

woodwaj · 29/11/2015 17:07

girl have you been on the mulled wine Wink

Can you get to a Tesco for frustration?

www.tesco.com/direct/frustration-board-game/729-4269.prd

zipzap · 29/11/2015 17:09

If anybody has any photobooks or photo calendars or big framed photo canvases etc they need doing, the tesco black friday deal finishes tomorrow.

Photo calendars are only £5. Photobooks and canvases are half price. Cushions are buy one get one half price.

The reason they're extra bargainous when compared to normal photo stuff is that you can choose to pick up in store for free - on lots of these sorts of offers, the postage can often add another fiver or more to the price.

itsonlysubterfuge · 29/11/2015 17:39

I need some Yankee Candles for my DH's stocking and would like to get an advent calendar for him, not chocolate. Anyone know where I can get either?

d270r0 · 29/11/2015 17:45

Bomb cosmetics advent calendar down to £12 on amazon.

flatmouse · 29/11/2015 17:46

case of 12 xmas ales on NOTH 30% off making it reasonable I think (well i'm certainly considering!) plus just got a gorgeous bracelet (personalised) for 50% off.

SweetPeaPods · 29/11/2015 18:06

flatmouse I got my nieces a personalised necklace each at 50% off on noth. I saw the beer, still thinking about it. The beer52 boxes were a big hit last year.
Are there any discount codes going about for beer52 or flavourly again this year?

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 29/11/2015 18:15

Quick reminder that Tesco A4 £15 photo calendar for £5 expires tomorrow. I did mine and it was by far the quickest uploading and easiest site to use.
