Thanks Reastie.

Any gift ideas for a baby (around 9 months) that will be visiting from South Africa. I would like a thoughtful (cheap) gift that they could take home but it not clutter up a suitcase!

ChristmasEvePJs · 28/11/2015 22:22

Wooohoo, I have made thread title Xmas Grin

Disney princess barbie dolls are 2 for £15 in Tesco.
I have finished the DC's, I need to stop buying more!!!

FabFlo · 28/11/2015 22:23

Loving the new foid & drink recomendations. Will be picking up a bottle of Tesco salted carmel liquer and a Morrisons stollen on my travels.

We have evolved so much from the first bargain thread and are much more than a cheap Christmas present thread.

This thread is now an essential part of my Christmas Flowers[santa]Flowers[santa]

Iggi999 · 28/11/2015 22:28

Thanks for new thread. Thanks

RayFuckingPurchase · 28/11/2015 22:51

Theonly try Boden while the 30% sale's still on. The twin packs of long johns type pjs are lovely but size up because they come up small - the reviews all seem to agree.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 28/11/2015 22:52

What about a plastic Emma bridgewater set?

AdmiralCLingus · 28/11/2015 23:08

I saw a message on this thread about shopping in Next. While the link above is from the Mirror (sigh) just please remember that one of the main owners of Next does not believe in the living wage and voted for the tax credit cuts.
Do not give him your money.

Adarajames · 28/11/2015 23:58

Problem is that so many companies lack any sort of ethics that to avoid them all makes shopping nearly impossible! I boycott nestle and coke and Israel produced goods, and that makes shopping complicated, especially once consider all their subsidiaries, ie Body Shop is now part of nestle for example Angry

spub · 29/11/2015 00:00

WineThanks Reastie

DingbatsFur · 29/11/2015 00:05

I know, but honestly, this man voted against a lifeline for so many people.

Don't worry, getting off my soap box, I am not normally political! Festive feeling carry on!!

FireflyGirl · 29/11/2015 00:13

Reastie, have PMd you. I checked some of the links in the first post, and they need amending/deleting Flowers

kiwidreamer · 29/11/2015 00:50

Ive just spent a good while mooching around the Hatley website, great discounts on slim fit pjs for kids, lots of notebooks £1.50, sticky notes 90p, journals £2, socks £2, tea towels for £2... I spent £48 for three sets of pjs and a whole bunch of stocking fillers --and bastarding postage but you can't have it all--
