Ohhhh I need some of the salted caramel liquor too!

iggi if you are anywhere near Liverpool or Manchester Lunya (a tapas restaurant/deli) sell churro kits. They are delicious and only a few quid.

Iggi999 · 28/11/2015 20:10

Chillychilly thank you! It was a long shot but I'm glad I asked now!!

Penguin, I have just bought a festive fleece at Next for DFriends birthday next week. It was £20 and has fleece on one side and teddy like stuff on the other. There are loads online to have a look at and I think someone mentioned they are offering a discount for opening an account if you pick up a leaflet in store, so might be a bargain to be had ThanksXmas Grin

I need to put together a foodie gift for a group of staff at a group my kids attend. There are 4 staff and it needs to be something they can share there or split and take home. The number of staff sometimes varies so I don't want to do a gift each in case i end up short. I would rather a joint thing. Anyway, I can spend between £15-20 and want to get the most for my money. Any ideas where is best to shop? I was thinking tea bags, coffees (they are outdoors a lot at this group and its cold!) and chocs etc. Should i just go to a supermarket or is there somewhere anyone can recommend?

MrsCocoa · 28/11/2015 20:16

Wiry, was it the one with built-in elf ears? I liked that one so much I'm wearing it now! Grin

VoldemortsBaubles · 28/11/2015 20:16

I know this is a bit boring but has anybody seen packs of scotch tapes that you use on those back of hand tape dispensers on offer anywhere.

SnozzberryMincePie · 28/11/2015 20:19

Does anyone have a code for elc or mothercare? Thanks

MrsCocoa · 28/11/2015 20:24

Penguin - have a look at TK Maxx. This one is cotton but beautiful (they have fleece ones too).

dementedma · 28/11/2015 20:27

Re salted caramel vodka, we got some in Aldi.
I did a recce of all pressies so far. Looks like dd2 is one short and then I'm done for the dcs. Trying not to twitch.

poppetina · 28/11/2015 20:28

voldemortsbaubles I got mine from Amazon last week for £1.20 per pack. Dd then lost my dispenser! They're still at that price now, but are an add on item.

VoldemortsBaubles · 28/11/2015 20:34

Thanks poppetina

itsonlysubterfuge · 28/11/2015 20:41

Place marking!

TobleroneBoo · 28/11/2015 20:42

voldemort lowest I've seen was tesco at around £1.50

Reastie · 28/11/2015 20:44

Thank you sweetpea, have deleted.

I'm not spotting many posts telling me codes aren't working but am relying on you all to tell me Thanks

Voldemort I'm sure I saw then half price recently but I can't think where. I'd guess sainsburys, but can't be certain.

Please could anyone advise the cheapest place to buy a wii u?

DangerousMouse · 28/11/2015 20:54

the thorntons code is now invalid Thanks for the new thread

WindTheFrog · 28/11/2015 20:58

voldemorts I got one yesterday in tesco £1.25 for the dispenser and £1.25 for the refills.

I've realised we haven't bought for BIL, I'm thinking of getting him dart/dartboard cufflinks if anyone knows anywhere cheap?

WiryElevator · 28/11/2015 20:59

MrsCocoa - no! Didn't see that one! Just a plain navy with a grey rim, ribbed. Yours sounds fab Xmas Grin

On another supermarket note, the Morrisons stollen from their bakery is divine. £1.70, freshly baked instore, and inhaled by the family in ten minutes tonight Xmas Shock

Best stollen I've ever tasted.

scrappydappydoo · 28/11/2015 21:05

Not sure if this has come up but Claire's accessories have 40% off everything online black Friday special.

Any ideas for an amazing male teacher?? - equally amazing female teacher is getting a Molton brown bauble.

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 28/11/2015 21:09

I am browsing Amazon and randomly chucking cheap stocking filler bracelets and what have you into my basket...

www.amazon.co.uk/Godagoda-Leather-Bracelet-Shape-Charms/dp/B0171ICTL6/ref=pd_sbs_197_2?ie=UTF8&dpID=51TZBgzJt-L&dpSrc=sims&preST=AC_UL160_SR160%2C160&refRID=0J5QTFF18FZ0E9MD5YMJ

Lots of similar prices and I figured if it doesn't arrive till after, it doesn't matter. Some are China.

Theonlyoneiknow · 28/11/2015 21:12

Hi Peeps. I ordered some Gap pyjamas for my very skinny 6yrs old DS but they drown him! Any recommendations for slim fitting pyjamas that aren't ott price wise? Thanks!

Notso · 28/11/2015 21:24

Theonlyoneiknow I have bought skinny fit PJ's from Next and H&M. They are the kind with leggings and a top a bit like thermals. Next are quite expensive for the quality but have lots of characters, H&M are good quality but less choice at my local branch anyway.

SymphonyofShadows · 28/11/2015 21:24

I'm done present buying but I'm marking my place for posh cracker bargains and very cheap last minute Xmas bedding

outputgap · 28/11/2015 21:25

lovely weather, there was back in the mists of time and many threads ago, a 25% off the White Company, but I reckon 20% is as good as it's going to get now.

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 28/11/2015 21:27

I bought a wii u for £179 including game and sky landers starter pack.
If anyone sees one cheaper before I collect on Tuesday please say so I can cancel it!
