Been absent for a while as I have been away training but I'm back and ready for the last few mad weeks of bargains Grin

Anyone after pretty M&S biscuit tins, I picked up a beautiful lantern one that has shortbread in and lights up when you press the button on the bottom, it is gorgeous and was only £7!

woodwaj · 06/12/2015 18:44

I just got an email from M&S with a personal code for 20% off tomorrow morning from 6am so if you have joined Sparks check your emails. Think it was valid on beauty, fashion and home.

Bizzledizzle · 06/12/2015 18:48

Has anyone seen a bargainous banister garland? I've been wanting one for years and always think to myself I'll get one in the sales after Christmas but then never do!

Pigleychez · 06/12/2015 18:51

Bizzle

Wilko's do cheap garlands. Some decorated, some plain. They also sell various bowl, pine cones etc on wire to decorate yourself.
I was given an old plain garland from someone that I jazzed up with these bits and it looks great.

Bowls?? Bows!

Reastie · 06/12/2015 18:56

I saw that one Jacqueline but couldn't work to how to turn it off, maybe it was just a dud one I was playing with looking at in the shop.

Bizzle, never mind the garland, your dog is gorgeous

dingit · 06/12/2015 19:03

I mean pigley

bluesky · 06/12/2015 19:05

margaritasbythesea whoops sorry I didn't even look at the prices, I just excitedly remembered reading about Jo Malone and how it isn't her business anymore and she restarted with new scents etc and thought it would be similar pricing for your friend.

Aromatherapy Associates are gorgeous, they are a real gift item, not something you'd really by yourself unless you were feeling particularly indulgent!

They have small Christmas gift ideas on the website too.

I've got my friend some bath oils for Christmas from Willow, organic and beautifully packaged (and postage is cheaper to buy direct from them than on NOTHS!)

BeaBoo · 06/12/2015 19:10

allisbrightandshiney I saw it advertised on their Instagram account. I've been eyeing one up for ages as I know DD would like it (and I love all things retro) but hadn't bought one as I couldn't find one cheap enough.

allisbrightandshiney · 06/12/2015 19:24

Thanks Beaboo
I might try the old 'put an item in my basket and leave it for a while' trick!
Hopefully I'll get an e mail from them!

Pigleychez · 06/12/2015 19:26

dingit
Thanks. Hes only 6mths so a bit of a pickle! But thankfully not been too bad with the decorations going up this weekend :)

DragonMamma · 06/12/2015 19:26

Evening.

Does anybody have a Disney store code? they had some blankets and pj's in store today, on sale but I had the kids with me and I can't get there until Tuesday.

margaritasbythesea · 06/12/2015 19:49

Thanks very much blue sky. Off to check those out.

weebarra · 06/12/2015 19:52

Random question, but thought you clever people might be able to help!
DS2 has been going on about a "Batman Weapon on Wheels" which seems to be some sort of car / shooty thing. I've googled it and can't find anything which seems right. Can anyone help?

Loobylou3 · 06/12/2015 20:16

dragonmama I have sent you a pm with a Disney code

TheDrsDocMartens · 06/12/2015 20:26

So anyone else having trouble with Geek box or are you all sorted?
I was interested in getting a second one to see if it was any better but it was a theme we weren't interested in so I deleted the CC details and confirmed with them I wasn't wanting it. They agreed to unsubscribe me & send the welcome box. They've now charged me again and still no welcome box.
My message was replied to with an apology for lack of welcome box but not a mention of the charging.

needyounow · 06/12/2015 20:40

Any suggestions for stocking filler ideas for my mum?
I have the usual, chocolates, toothbrush, shower gel type things we always do. But need a couple of other bits.
She is early 50s, doesn't wear makeup or jewellery. Totally stuck this year.

allisbrightandshiney · 06/12/2015 21:00

needyou

diary, small bottle of wine, compact mirror/brush, nice pen.

G1veMeStrength · 06/12/2015 21:08

All I want for Christmas is pigley's gorgeous lab. IN LOVE. Sooo jealous of you!

woodwaj · 06/12/2015 21:10

thedrs I'll check mine now because I told them I wanted to cancel

woodwaj · 06/12/2015 21:17

Nothing yet but it's not quite been a month. I'll be keeping an eye out. I made the mistake of reading their twitter. The feedback is SO bad!

Bizzledizzle · 06/12/2015 21:18

VoldemortsBaubles · 06/12/2015 21:24

Dr I've been charged again too. I cancelled by using their cancellation template and posted it along with the box. I'm giving them the benefit of doubt that it's crossed over as the box was only sent back this week (but within the 14 days cancellation time period). I will give them to the end of the week to refund me.

Baubleicious · 06/12/2015 21:24

I've just spent ages trawling through this thread to find a Next code. I ordered for the first time and because I said yes to the next directory it opened an account and I got £20 off my first order. I didn't get a friend referral it was a straight £20 off (no minimum spend).

My mum wants to use it now and I can't remember where I read it!
