Sproingle - would any of these dresses in tkmaxx work? They often have long sleeved dresses on and I'm sur you could find one suitable or maybe adapt one (add a lace collar or something?).

Canofpeas · 06/12/2015 12:06

30% off online at Claire's Accessories today m.claires.co.uk
Almost irresistible urge to buy more Peppa stocking fillers. ....must be strong!

ihatethecold · 06/12/2015 12:14

Thanks

Elizabethtailored · 06/12/2015 13:25

What might be good for a 17 year old girl and 19 year old boy which is also postable? Are Starbucks vouchers seriously dull? Anything 'cooler'?

sproingle · 06/12/2015 13:27

Onelittle piglet, the dress on the top right of that link really could work. But i need age 7-8 or 8-9 which i can't get on line. Might have to go to tkmax and see what i can get.

sproingle · 06/12/2015 13:29

Book book - its an idea but i am not great with sewing. Also she thinks she elves can see intricately after last year's dress. Wish i hasn't started that idea now. Added to the fact that at 7 she could well just be testing me as she may well have ideas about santa not being real.

G1veMeStrength · 06/12/2015 13:29

How about getting all the bits to make a dress from, long sleeved t shirt, sash, wonder web etc and giving it as a 'make your own dress' sort of kit. With a letter from FC explaining how lovely it is and how good dd is at designing clothes and could she ask for your help putting it together? Then you can adapt some of the design together if need be?

G1veMeStrength · 06/12/2015 13:30

Plus the letter can explain the elves have limited time!

Jo Malone left the company in 2006 and now has her own new company called Jo Loves, try seeing what they have or ask their advice

Pomelo is her most popular and citrusy scent, so might be ideal

Sorry for the ridiculously long link Blush

Wineandchoccy · 06/12/2015 15:14

sproingle I bought our cat a bed in Home bargains for 5.99 they did a small and medium size. Wilkinson also have a good cheap pet section where you could probably find something suitable as well.

Everything 5 pounds have some nice fleecy blankets with kids characters on them avengers, frozen etc www.everything5pounds.com/en/Homeware-%26-Toys/c/homeware-and-toys

Thank you as well for the post about TQ toys in a previous thread I have got some lovely Melissa and Doug toys for my Daughters 1st Christmas Xmas Smile

velvetelvessuits · 06/12/2015 15:37

Woodwaj I've Pmd you regarding Ugg prices Smile

missmargot · 06/12/2015 15:52

woodwaj last time I bought UGGs I bought them from Viva La Diva and used one of their new customer codes, if you google there are always loads about.

sproingle · 06/12/2015 16:03

G1veMeStrength, Thanks. If i can't find something i might just do that.

Mama1980 · 06/12/2015 16:05

Elizabethtailored, among my dd (18) friends nandos vouchers seem to be 'the' thing :)

With Star Wars Kellogg's cereal at the moment they are giving away free Disney light saber spoons, (stuck on packet) my children went crazy for them (which is why I bought 4 bloody packs of cereal!) would be a great stocking filler.

houseHuntinginmanchester · 06/12/2015 16:40

Wow thanks just ordered the unicorn stompeez for dd1 and now eyeing up the scuttle bug for dd2 - bargainous price! [santa]

margaritasbythesea · 06/12/2015 17:08

Thanks blue sky I do feel a bit like fainting at the idea of £59 bubble bath!

neddle · 06/12/2015 17:33

Went real life shopping with dd14 today - my arms and shoulders ache from carrying bags Sad.
I managed to tick off 1 set of pjs and two lots of stocking presents for each child. I suppose it's progress, but I'm seriously uninspired by shops.

I'm looking for multipack pants and socks for a small 4yo boy who likes Frozen, Paw Patrol and Star Wars (for some reason).
Also a multipack of pants for dd14, but wanted some kind of fun ones.
I've tried Primark and Tesco so far.

Reastie · 06/12/2015 17:47

Popped to a couple of shops today. Car works full, queues at check outs, having to navigate around people not looking where they were going. This is why I like online shopping!

M&s now have th Christmas tree shaped musical biscuit tin half price as well as the cylinder shaped penguin one.
