XiCi · 28/11/2015 13:23

Ilove if you still need a French connection code CYBER got me 25% off yesterday

fuzzpig · 28/11/2015 13:32

Interesting about asking for refunds on price drops.

I was a bit miffed about the book people having an extra 10% off on the black friday sale the day after I ordered. Did consider cancelling and reordering but couldn't be bothered for the sake of under a fiver.

Mama1980 · 28/11/2015 13:36

I've been to actual shops today :) bargains included lovely deep red glass mason jars £1 each in pound world. They look so pretty thick glass too.
Home bargains had orchids lots of different colours £2.99 each cheapest I've seen anywhere.
Marks have their biscuit tins half price.
And if anyone needs Star Wars rebels season 1 HMV have it in a 2 for £20 offer or £12.99 cheapest anywhere at least £3 cheaper than Amazon.

FireflyGirl · 28/11/2015 13:37

Stompeez £4.99 here. I seem to remember someone was looking for them.

Nearlyadoctor · 28/11/2015 13:37

I spoke to two different people at Amazon , one on live chat and one on the telephone regarding Disney Infinity 3.0 and neither would refund the price drop. I only it bought it 2 weeks ago - both said it was not Amazons policy.

Badders123 · 28/11/2015 13:39

I emailed.

ChipInTheSugar · 28/11/2015 13:44

Please can I pick the collective MN brain for ideas? For a 70 year old couple - but a young 70 yo couple! In the past I've done the hamper idea with food, fizz and cinema tickets, a Scentsy candle, a garden clock ...

No particular hobbies but take 3-4 holidays a year.

What do you get the folk who have everything ...?!

Mama1980 · 28/11/2015 13:48

Thank firefly, wasn't me who posted but my children will love them :)

Mama1980 · 28/11/2015 13:55

Chip, maybe national trust voucher or membership, restaurant voucher, fancy cheese like Tete de moine........? The last was a huge hit with a similar couple I buy for.

NiceCupOfTeaAndASitDown · 28/11/2015 14:00

Apologies if it's already been posted but Argos have Now TV boxes on offer. I just got one for £19.99 (plus 3.95 same day delivery) with 4 months free sky movies but they're also doing 6 months entertainment passes. We've got one and they're fab; you can get all your catch up channels in one place, the passes are usually £9.99 a month so it's a great saving

ChoccyJules · 28/11/2015 14:03

Don't think I've seen anyone mention this before, sorry if so, but has anyone seen a code for the Dukeshill posh food company? DM is doing an order (she does this annually) and I wondered if I could help her out.

Petal7 · 28/11/2015 14:16

Chipinthe sugar - how about a visit to a vineyard?

JammyGeorge · 28/11/2015 14:17

I've just had a CCC for the big playmobil castle £110 down to £75 again same as last week. If this has come down it might be worth a look on Amazon if you are in the market for some playmobil incase others are reduced.

Ho ho ho

Petal7 · 28/11/2015 14:17

Or afternoon tea at a lovely hotel? Theatre vouchers?

fuzzpig · 28/11/2015 14:18

The Playmobil castle is brilliant. DCs had it from Santa a few years ago, it was all set up with knights around it mid battle when they came downstairs. Their faces were unforgettable :o

It's a bugger to store though!

andadietcoke · 28/11/2015 14:19

I want to do Christmas Eve boxes for the family that always come to us on Christmas Eve for a Christmas film and buffet dinner. The boys are nearly 8 and nearly 13. Will they just think it's stupid? Or if not, what can I put in their boxes? I'm going to do it instead of their Christmas present so could spend up to about £25 each. My girls are 2... I have no idea what to get for older boys!!

andadietcoke · 28/11/2015 14:20

nearlyadoctor could you buy again and then return the new one as the first one if that makes sense?

curriegirl · 28/11/2015 14:22

Nearly, as the above poster said return the original one and buy again at the cheaper price.

ilovetosleep · 28/11/2015 14:31

Thanks xici gutted that one doesn't seem to be working anymore. Might end up buying from self ridges with their 20% off

Nearlyadoctor · 28/11/2015 14:32

Thanks - I think that's what I shall do, so much for Amazons carbon footprint!

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 28/11/2015 14:33

Just in case anyone is doing stockings for teenage girls I would suggest a visit to the make up counters in John Lewis et al and ask for samples for her sensitive skin I got 2 clarins samples today come in little boxes too no issues just said wanted to try before asking for full size products as Xmas gift.

Donthate · 28/11/2015 14:47

No submarines need me. If anyone sees one in the me please let me know I have a Beatles mad little boy who would love one. Thanks.

Donthate · 28/11/2015 14:48

Near me that should say

Donthate · 28/11/2015 14:53

Marks and spencer have 20% off 6 bottles of wine. They also have half price bottles of Kir Royale and Cassis and Clementine Bucks Fizz so £3 per bottle or 6 for £14.40. That's my teacher and teaching assistant gifts sorted.
