I am trying to make a list to give DH. We have a small budget for each other, £50 each, and he likes to have a list of things to pick from. I need ideas. So far all I have is Nigella's new cook book.

So what would YOU like for Christmas? It might give me some inspiration, and we mustn't forget about ourselves in the madness. :)

I would like a new leather jacket and some new boots. Also a new camera. I won't get any of these because we don't buy presents for each other.

I've already bought the yankee candle advent so I feel I got the one thing on the list but other stuff would be:

lush products
money for a spending spree
ideally a new laptop and camera for using with youtube
alice in wonderland colouring book plus pens
snow
to drop 2 stone
erm stuff I cant remember but will do when I hit send on this post!

Any of the following:
Moroccan style lanterns for the garden
An outside sofa,
Jo Malone candles,
Champagne,
A cheese subscription,
A silk carpet,
A wine glass with a blown twisted stem,
Spotify premium,
Handmade silver bracelet to match my existing bracelets,
Grown up Swing for the garden,
My late grandfathers barometer mended,
Kindle subscription,
Tickets to the cinema and/ or theatre,
Pashmina, navy and fuchsia,
Handmade shoes,
A swimsuit that fits,

These are my ideal world gifts obviously, not thinking I would get any really.

I've got some proper gift ideas

A Swarovski slake bracelet
A red fur trimmed cape with a hood

I'll think of more!

This telescope and House of Leaves

I hasten to add that I started dropping hints for the telescope before the John Lewis advert came out, so just hope they don't all sell out. Alternately, £50 will get you an entry level set of astronomical binoculars.

I've also asked having read with great relish tales of peeling feet here on MN for some Footner Blush

Forget the DVDs and ask for an Apple TV

KP86 · 14/11/2015 01:29

I asked DH for tickets for us to go to a show in London (his choice), but he seems to have ignored me and is probably organising something that I won't enjoy at all.

Mind you; that's an improvement on the fact that he forgets my birthday often so I really shouldn't complain!

Agree with Apple TV. Or Chromestick. Unless you have a Smart TV and then its a bit of a waste of time- i only use mine for Netflix and Airplaying iPlayer/4od/itv player from my iPad. That will change when I get my Smart TV Grin

My list:
Perfume (Marc Jacobs Daisy probably)
Few bits of Benefit makeup

Have my eyes on a Michael Kors bag but pratically I could do with a pair of sturdy leather boots instead
