I am trying to make a list to give DH. We have a small budget for each other, £50 each, and he likes to have a list of things to pick from. I need ideas. So far all I have is Nigella's new cook book.

So what would YOU like for Christmas? It might give me some inspiration, and we mustn't forget about ourselves in the madness. :)

Question - "kindle vouchers" are these a thing - or are they just amazon vouchers for you to spend on kindle purchases?

We are buying ourselves a microwave oven with grill ... Last year we bought ourselves a tv. We've got 3 kids under 8 so Christmas is for them. We overspend on birthdays instead xx

Krampus · 11/11/2015 16:53

Smart watch for my Android phone.

NathalieM · 11/11/2015 17:14

I'd like a blender for making fruit smoothies. Haven't dropped any hints about it though, so very doubtful I'll be getting anything of the sort :P

JimmyGreavesMoustache · 11/11/2015 17:29

chanel perfume
badass haridryer (GHD or parlux)
uniqlo merino wool jumper
nike airs
everything everything CD
good chocolate
the latest philippa gregory Blush
A le pliage bag

I will probably get the perfume as DH knows I like it, knows I've run out, and has little imagination. And SIL is pretty reliable on the chocolate front.

I inherited a lot of jewelry this year (as my mother passed away)

She liked her chains really long so the pendants were between her breasts or a bit lower
I prefer them shorter so I wish gold and silver chains that are shorter (need to measure one of mine to find out exactly how short)

I would also like that rather neat T2 tea maker that was linked here the other day

Also I LOVE cook books so any type of cookbook to add to my collection (I have over 200 and yes I have cooked something from all of them - bar the latest one I got)

PurpleThermalsNowItsWinter · 11/11/2015 17:47

Underwear
Perfume
A good book (doesn't help that I don't know which one)
My DH home for Christmas (which he will be Smile).

MERLYPUSSEDOFF · 11/11/2015 20:50

Lego millennium falcon
Dr Marten dealer boots in purple (they dont do them)
The ideal satchel - never found one yet.

popcornpaws · 12/11/2015 13:06

Perfume
Books
Lush shower gels
Candles/tarts
Ness handbag
p'j's
cashmere socks
godiva chocs
gloves
L'occitane soaps

MajesticSeaFlapFlap · 12/11/2015 13:12

Soup maker
Viktor and Rolf flowerbomb
Star earrings (studs)
A overnight bag

ButtonMoon88 · 12/11/2015 14:14

Prince tickets- they go on sale tomorrow, fingers crossed we get them!

SymphonyofShadows · 12/11/2015 14:56

A new Pure digital radio that is compatible with all the accessories I have for my now dead one
DM boots with Marceline the vampire on
Motörhead CD

evelynj · 12/11/2015 21:26

In lieu of the soupmaker & blender, can I recommend a cheapy stick blender-take up less room & so much easier to clean.

I want time, lots and lots of me time, yum. But that's never gonna happen so a big neom sensuous candle & all the beauty advent calendars to test products.

And a rucksack. When I need one I'm still using the one I bought for a fiver about 20 years ago in a London market. I can't pick stuff that I want anymore, it's too hard to decide on anything, in worried about buyers remorse!

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 12/11/2015 23:08

Just had a little think! I buy my own pressies for ds sake but if I could have anything I'd maybe go with something from this list:

Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe
The Hundred and Ninety Nine Steps and/or The Fire Gospel by Michel Faber
Lush stuff
Lovely notebook
Nice pen
Mary Shelleys Frankenstein DVD (the Kenneth Brannagh one!)
My fave perfume - Noa by Cacherel
A Chip (from Beauty and the Beast) cupBlush
Monkey music box from Phantom of the Opera. I would marry anyone who bought me one of these. I shall be single forever..
Interesting fiction books.
Books to make me laugh.
An Olivia Burton watch.
Something snuggley!
An (ethical) angora jumper

What I'll probably end up getting myself is some tax deductible tools, including a Knee Concept saw with swivel and quick release lever!!

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 12/11/2015 23:08

*Knew Concept. Not Knee Concept!

80sMum · 12/11/2015 23:12

I would like a house-elf, someone to keep the house clean and tidy, so I don't have to!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 12/11/2015 23:33

I have no blinking clue.......
I'd like jumpers (but I.m very hot flushing so I rarely wear them)

New underwear when I get myself out to look (I don't think my DH is the best chooser of knickers Wink )

I don't drink or eat chocolate except dark, so I might hint for some Hotel Chocolat goodies.

I have enough make up.

Have to think , DH needs a list for me Xmas Grin

trixymalixy · 12/11/2015 23:41

Fitbit
Flowerbomb perfume
Clarins hand cream
Rose and violet creams

NeverNic · 13/11/2015 00:01

On my list would be:
New espresso cups and some ordinary mugs
A kindle (mine has died)
Victoria Secrets underwear
A new piece of jewellery
Bed linen
Champagne (my favourite)

In a dream world

Barista lessons
Cake decorating lessons
Kitchen aid
Holiday
Theatre tickets

NeverNic · 13/11/2015 00:03

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 13/11/2015 00:35

Ooh I could ask for the Advanced Driver Course that DH was going to buy me for my 40th............ I'm 50 next year......Wink

Icklepickle101 · 13/11/2015 10:58

Inspired by another thread I would like a teapot Grin

Also some nice bath bombs and fluffy socks.

DP keeps pestering me for ideas for a 'big' present but I'm happy with my little things and we could do with saving the pennies!
