my eldest wants a nintendo ds ( bit of an improvement on last years request of a mobile phone- he was 6 at the time), ds2 as usual wants anything spiderman or buzz lightyear- he is 5. dd's both too little to ask for stuff but they getting clothes and teddies mainly

FireFaerie · 03/12/2006 12:54

Everything in the woolworths/argos catalogue.. so far Methinks Santa isnt going to have enough room in his sliegh for that 'little' lot, but try telling that to a 5 year old, who says 'but mummy, if he can fit down the chimney, then surely he can.. he's Magic!'

santasaltire · 03/12/2006 12:56

SantaGotStuckUpTheGreensleeve · 03/12/2006 13:00

ds1 (4) - "a recipe for all things"

ds2 (2) - sum pred-nants pwease

cazzybabs · 03/12/2006 13:03

DD1 (4 and a half) wants a Klutz book that allows you to make tiaras and thats it.

DD2 (2) wants chocolate and a bike (she is getting a Puky 1st bike thing - a bit like like-a-bike but not wooden and half the price)

treacletart · 03/12/2006 13:41

Ds (3) want some metal thomas trucks. Last year all he asked for was a lollipop. I'm relishing it while I can.

Leslaki · 03/12/2006 13:52

DD (3) Everything on TV, even says 'I want that' when it's debt management or dog food adverts!

She has specifically asked for
Princess Alexa (appears 7 times on her list)
Cinderella (the real person I think!!)
Dolly things
Chocolate

DS (4) originally said he wasn't going to ask for anything as Santa always knwos what he likes!! AWwwwwbut has now asked for:
bat man car with batman in it
power rangers things
racing cars (phew - he's getting scalextrix)

Me, I've asked for peace and quiet but am as ikely to get that as Princess Alexa winning the most tasteful toy in Britain award!

Blondilocks · 03/12/2006 14:05

My LO has asked for a gameboy (I assume a Nintendo DS as the list says like the one her friend has got) & games, about 6 Bratz dolls, a doll accessory with a hot tub & lots of other doll related things! Unfortunately I had done most of her presents before she wrote the list.

PrettyCandlesAndTinselToo · 03/12/2006 14:44

Ds1 refuses to write the letter this year, as he insists that FC knows what he wants because of FC's magical abilities.

Great.

SantasFattymumma · 03/12/2006 14:50

DS wants a "lighte Saver"

DD wants each and every Dolly she has seen in the past few months.

Mummymonster · 03/12/2006 14:55

'THOMAS LEGO DUPLO PLEASE' and 'CARS TOYS'

we wrote a letter to santa (DS's 1st) and I made sure that I included everything I know that he's been bought already! (I'm a cheat)

BettySpaghetti · 03/12/2006 15:14

DS (2.5) wants:

ice cream
a comb
caterpillars

DD (7) wants:
anything and everything really but nothing that will occupy her for more than 2 mins! She also wants lots of things that she won't have (TV in her bedroom, computer etc). We might have to sit her down to write a revised list

gegs73 · 03/12/2006 15:19

DS 2.6 wants a yellow bike and 'Hotwheels please - boy on TV has it'. AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH.

brazilnuts · 03/12/2006 15:19

a tortoise !

Steppy1 · 03/12/2006 15:22

DS (five and three quarters) a "telescope for studying he planets froom my new velux windon"

DD (3 and three quarters) a rosebud dolls house from the ELC catalogue

tortoiseshell · 03/12/2006 15:58

Mine haven't asked for anything - they're not really into the idea of Christmas presents - I'm quite surprised - ds1 is Yr1 and I thought the school influence would have kicked in by now! But it's not occurred to them to ask for anything!

Pinkchampagne · 03/12/2006 16:06

DS1 has asked for a v smile, Scooby Doo ghost catching mystery machine, Playmobil rescue helicopter & anything Cars!

DS2 wants the entire Thomas page of every toy catalouge he looks in!

wheresthehamster · 03/12/2006 16:10

Aaaaargh! Butterscotch pony!

I tried to convince dd3 that she would prefer an electric guitar but she looked at the price tag and said it's only £99 and she wanted something really expensive from FC!

I was convinced I'd brought them up in a lovely non-materialistic way!

SpookyMadMerryChristmasMummy · 03/12/2006 16:10

dd1 asked for a treadmill!!!!

PrincessPeaHead · 03/12/2006 16:11

ds2 (3) a sword, some chocolate and a book
ds1 (6) a hot wheels criss cross (?)
dd1 (8) some sylvanian stuff (eurgh)
dds (10mths) screamed at the sight of santa so the others are a bit concerned she won't get anything

littlerach · 03/12/2006 16:12

Dd1 would like some playmobil, a Barbie violin and soome stickers. She is 5.

Dd2 would like somehting fifi, and some chocolate. She is 2.

We saw father xmas at the weekend, and dd1 began spouting these ideas that she had changed her mind and would like Barbie dancers or something. Quickly stopped that idea!

chatee · 03/12/2006 16:19

dd (age 6) has wrote both letters to father christmas for herself and her little brother age 2.
after having a little chat and looking through the argos book she came up with this:
dd- baby born with magic eyes
gr8 knitting machine
gr8 glittermania
ds- bing bang boom box from lazy town
sportacus dressing up costume
when dd kept asking him for his 3rd present for the list(so he was the same as her)he kept saying no no no just a bing bang boom box and sportacus thank you,
she was trying to put lots of sillyideas in his head....no thank you as my shopping is done...well for my children anyway

aliceband · 03/12/2006 16:35

no, i had to remind mine the other day, to write to fc.

Boleyn · 03/12/2006 23:55

Oh wheresthehamster - what are you going to do? £299 of toy pony. I saw it in John Lewis this week and found it spooky and sad. When I was 6 I would have nagged and nagged my parents for one - never would have got it though. Never got a real pony. Totlally deprive childhood!

After the Dalek panic last year I manipulated DS1 (6 yrs) inti something he'd love and which Santa coould get easily!

NorksBride · 04/12/2006 00:50

DD1 (5) - Marshmallows, stretchy rubber animal, Shrek. anything Clarice Bean.
DS1 (3) - Jelly sweets, book, Brio houses, Thomas express coaches.
DD2 (2) - dolls clothes, some sweets, a bobble hat.

But they know that FC only fills their stockings - Mummy & Daddy get the big stuff (even so, we haven't been pestered about anything... yet)!
