DD1 aged nearly 7 ( and may not make to her birhtdya if behaviour doesn't improve) wanted and inappropriately long list of expensive stuff and when gently explained FC doesn't always bring everything you wan tshe replied " well my birthday is hte week later you can buy the stuf fhe doesn't bring.....mmmm, after a little stern chat and threats to tell FC of said rudeness, has settled for new bike , chocolate and a mcfly cd. DD2 aged 2 keeps burstinginto tears and saying " you not get presents it my burtday and my party" to dd1 everytime presents are mentioned. she has just had a birhtday in fairness and obviously links presents to her birthday .... i want a hunky swedish (male) au pair....

DD (2) rang Father Christmas up on my mobile. She asked for:
a bag
a belt
a comb
a toy car

I was both and at her coming out with such a long list but they are all really little things and quite sweet.

She has since asked for a snow white doll and some sweeties.

DS (5) has asked for a power rangers book, a bionicle, some shin pads, the Devil of Darkness knight and horse and Gordon the blue engine.

So again, not extortionate.
