BettySpaghetti · 04/12/2006 10:05

WhenSantaWentQuietlyMad · 04/12/2006 10:09

DD1 has asked for a "Princess Sticker Book" (1.99 from Morrisons). When I asked if there was anything else she looked kind of panicky.

"No, I just want a Princess sticker book and nothing else."

So I am getting a fairy world thing from ELC for our enjoyment more than hers. And of course the Princess thing is already in the cupboard.

GULP. Enjoy while it lasts......

Chamomile · 04/12/2006 10:38

Ds2(5) has asked for a Bratz doll
Should I get him one do you think?
When his brother was teasing him he said he wanted a "cool boy Bratz with a skateboard" but when DS1 left the room he said "actually mummmy,I want one of the girls."
I can't decide whether to humour him or not

JARMgotstuckupthechimney · 04/12/2006 10:49

Rebecca is too young to ask, but we have bought her a Little People set that was reduced from £35 to £19.99 in woolworths

She's asked for a tiger for her 1 year old brother.
It's so sweet, I love it....

hulababy · 04/12/2006 12:24

DD (4y7m) has asked for a real digital camera, which Father Christmas will be bringing.

She has also asked for Baby Born, but was told that she may need ot wait for her birthday for this - which she accepted. However, my parents have now got her one but she doesn't know.

Dottydotthehalls · 04/12/2006 12:49

This year, ds's (5 and 2) are getting a main joint present (I know, it'll never work...) which is a wooden castle. Ds1 wanted it and the deal is he has to share it with ds2. The grandparents are buying it, which is great - sorted!

So, yesterday we wrote letters to father christmas and ds1's had the castle in it, plus a crossbow - we told him they don't make crossbows for children so it's unlikely father christmas will bring him one...

Ds2 asked for a train with carriages, which he's been asking for for ages and we've got him one. But right at the end he threw in "a boat with people round the side"...! So that'll be me trying to find a flipping boat with people that's not too pricy, when we thought we'd done all our Christmas shopping!

LunarSeasonsGreetings · 04/12/2006 14:07

Dottydotthehalls - English heritage do little wooden replica crossbows for children in their shops, if you've got any of their places near you.

corrina28 · 04/12/2006 16:51

AlgernonGetYerTubaOut have u managed to get the lego krusty krab?

izzybiz · 04/12/2006 17:57

DS- 14 at xmas,wants a Nintendo Wii.
A new mobile, money, clothes etc.

DD-2.6, wants a christmas tree and tiny presents with paper??

flack · 04/12/2006 18:02

A Playmobil RC train, which will cost £300 with the extras. FC doesn't want to spend £300 on DS, so I am completely flummoxed and have no idea what DS is getting. As a backup DS is asking tooth fairy for one of these trains, too (he lost a tooth today).

Any tips??
