'''mumofmonstrs - it's no problem I wish I could have helped more. Your weekly food budget is so low Hats off to you, I don't know how you do it xxx

MerlinsBeard · 01/12/2006 16:38

imnot27 · 01/12/2006 17:03

Miaou, so glad you got parcel and stuff is okay! I didn't wrap the pressies as (I think) this is the best bit, wouldn't want to deprive you of sellotape delight. Hope you have a lovely, lovely Christmas!!

Miaou · 01/12/2006 17:24

You are right imnot27, I am really going to enjoy wrapping those bits! Plus some can go to dd1 (not girly) and some to dd2 (very girly) so I can divide up as appropriate

Am going to go OTT with ribbons and bows etc!!!

colditz · 01/12/2006 17:56

This morning in the post I received a gold envelope from West London, with M&S vouchers and a Woolies voucher. Thank you for your gift, and thank you that you thought to send a gift. I always come out as crap when I am saying thank you, but I am so, so touched and grateful. Your kind note broughttears to my eyes. I hope your two have a lovely and joyful Christmas.

I also received a square white envelope, from watfrord. I don't know who you are either, but be assured that your high Street Vouchers will be going towards my christmas dinner this year, they have really taken the strain off. Thank you so very much for thinking of us at Christmas.18 months old is never too young to pull Santa's beard, BTW.

Your children are very lucky to have such kind parents.

Jelley · 01/12/2006 18:33

I want to say thankyou again to my santa who included cards for the dds to send to their friends. That in itself was lovely, but I have just given them out, and discovered that there are 2 (or another even number )of each one, so there is lots of card writing and no arguing going on here.

Thankyou so much for the extra thought that went in to your box.

I have hidden the presents to stop myself opening them and peeking

Thankyou to the anonymous MNetter who sent a parcel of clothes, toys, books and goodies for me, K in M with children C,J and J.

OneofQVsSantas · 01/12/2006 18:48

I NEED MORE KLEENEX! This whole thing is making me so emotional.

Received another box of goodies for my boys today, a Boots card with strict instructions to spend on ME and a years pass for a local attraction. Gillian you are a wonderful, generous woman and I don't know how to say thank you well enough.

QV - box from Amazon going direct to your address. Wish I could have sent more but I hope G & O enjoy them. I'm sure my RL name will be plastered all over it so you will figure out who I am

MagnoliasSecretSanta · 01/12/2006 18:49

I'm a bit late but have just seen Magnolias post. I know she's probably cuddling her new born by now. I hope the Gift Card goes some way towards a nice christmas treat for you and yours

OneofQVsSantas · 01/12/2006 18:51

I notice a few mentions of presents for MNers wrapped in blue ribbon and a mention from Rhubarb on the thread she started.

Can I just say, whoever you are at the Little Green Nursery, you are fantastic. Lots of mums getting special little treats on Christmas day, all down to you .

Thank you.

PinkTinsel · 01/12/2006 19:23

Nemoinapeartree · 01/12/2006 21:03

Can I say a huge huge huge thank you to the lovely Mner who signed their card secret santa but has a little girl with the same name as mine thank you sooooooooooooo much for the vouchers. They will be getting used for some lovely christmas food treats as our budget doesnt usually have space for the treaty items.

Moonpie · 01/12/2006 21:09

Thank you to the MNers who sent us wonderful stuff. For the vouchers that came in the card today from the MNer who has the 18 month old daughter. They will be put to good use. I can't afford a Christmas tree this year. So hopefully now we can have one. To the other MNer who sent vouchers through the post with no identifying information, thank you, too.

This has humbled me because I didn't think anyone cared.

By the way, the card that came today (which was very sweet), had MN written on the back of it - like a code. MNet is a great place!

Soapythelistmaker · 01/12/2006 21:10

Moonpie - don't use the vouchers to buy a tree - I can send you one that was donated to us
