I've just had a box of pressies all wrapped and signed from Santa delivered.
I'm experiencing the Christmas excitement I thought never came back when you are an adult.

Also a card, signed with a rl name. Thankyou C.

Thank you so very much to the Mner who has sent some Argos vouchers. Words aren't enough really. I am going to use them for a present for DD and DS2. You are wonderful. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and I hope you are getting such a good feeling from knowing you have really helped

Nemoinapeartree · 28/11/2006 10:57

nutcracker · 28/11/2006 11:31

SoMuchToBits thankyou so very much, just recieved the parcel of gifts and I am so grateful, thankyou.

Must thank Pucca too for the voucher you sent (posted thanks on wrong thread earlier). Have already reserved one of Ds's presents to collect tommorow, thankyou.

plumflumppudding · 28/11/2006 11:36

THANK YOU so much to the Santa who sent my darling children £30 of toys are us vouchers,I'm sitting here in tears of gratitude.
Xmas was going to be so hard for me this year, and its also my ds birthday coming up...it was all making me feel rather sick when thinking about presents etc,but this will help out a great deal towards it all.
I can now afford to buy each of them one main gift and a couple of little bits each rather than just fill a stocking each for them with little stocking fillers.
I don't care what anyone says on the other thread, this idea shows the REAL meaning of Xmas and whoever you are I am forever in your debt...

and of course to Soupdragon who came up with the idea and has made it all possible
.
Thnak you so much again from a mum and her dd(6) and ds(3) in Luton.

Dear McKenzie

The postman just came (back! He had already been and gone today but this was a van!) with a box of goodies from you and your children. You are wonderful.. as usual words aren't enough. DD and DS will love those books.. DD loves to cook .. and DS will love the bubble maker. He has CP and I often can't handle these kind of toys but it has a big chunky 'trigger' which I'm sure he'll be able to master.

You are truly wonderful. Thank you so so much. DH wishes me to express that he also thinks you are wonderful. He is slowly getting the gist of how fantastic MN can be.. for a long time he didn't 'get it' lol.. but I knew he had 'twigged' a few month ago when he insisted we contrinute to a collection for a Mner in need (we had some money in the bank at the time! )

DH also says that he thinks the cookery book will be the most help for ME!!! (bloody cheek.. but he's not wrong... )

mrsnoah · 28/11/2006 13:27

Reading this with lump in my throat. So pleased for all of you.

yeahinamanger · 28/11/2006 13:33

Hijack - JARM

Having read a bit about your current circumstances here and your DH about to leave the army - does he go on the "ARSE" it's a sort of Mumsnet for ex and serving soldiers - My DH was in the Army - and he is always remarking what a good place it is (bit like MN) not just for chat but also for practical advice from people who have been through the same scenarios - sometimes there have been job offers etc... Anyway - a long shot but you may get some very good practical advice on their chat site - and it's got to be worth a shot hasn't it !???

SoMuchToBits · 28/11/2006 13:35
