my goodness, i didn't expect to be posting on this thread again - just reading!
but this week (and I'm sorry for the delay in posting) I have received so much more!
A with dd E thank you so much for the lovely wrapped gifts. your card rang many bells for me. the victories and the battles conceded. there's a lot of bashing going on in our house too! btw, E was on my list of names too.
Heiferxmas&happyMOOYear, the clothes you have sent are lovely. all that you have sent is special and I am sure dd will look beautiful in them. glad you had fun sorting them out too.
Family H in Berks, the coats are lovely. Got to love Pumpkin Patch! and the mothercare vouchers are just so generous. they will go on new shoes i think as dd will need some soon. i can't thank you enough for helping me afford good shoes.
Mrs C H in Hungerford the decorations arrived on Thursday and I was amazed. the house is looking so festive now. dd concedes that Father Christmas as an indoor light is much less scary than the "real" thing in his grotto! Also the fimbles ferris wheel is fab. thank you so much for such thoughtfullness and generosity.
and of course a parcel full of lovely organix bits and a great fairytale mobile - thank you soapy!
now i must as amongst all these parcels there was £10 M&S voucher and i cannot remember from whom. but i thank you so very much for the generosity, i bought some lovely food treats for our day tomorrow.
dh is absolutely stunned and i am sure this has contributed to his feeling able to spend Xmas at home with us this year, this is real progress on last year.
as a family our thanks go to everyone on mumsnet and especially soapy and the person who nominated me.
if i have your email or postal addy i will send a picture card in the new year of dd enjoying her xmas.
ps: thanks to S with J in H N. Yorks for the lovely card too. Great to see your little man and it is pride of place on the mantle. hope you don't mind if i nick your idea and do the same for my givers!
Merry Christmas.
