Thank you so much Soapy and the companies/people involved, for the huuuuuuuge parcel containing 2 trees (!), lovely decorations and sweets. I have given one tree to my friend, I hope that is ok.

Merry Christmas everyone, I love you all

ShinyHappyStarOfBethlehem · 23/12/2006 11:32

And just want to say, I will never forget this Christmas, which came after a crap year for me and many others, when Mumsnet stepped in and made such a difference to so many people. Wonderful Soapy started it.. but so many wonderful people picked it up and ran with it! It has really made a difference.

Thank you so much [fmsile]

hunkermunker · 23/12/2006 12:11

LadyOfThePoinsettias · 23/12/2006 23:37

paula, we are over the moon and still in complete shock! we have been wrapping for the last 2.5 hours! lol
is the instant camera for us to take pics for ourselves or would you like us to use it and send it to you?
also, is it correct there were 4 parcels? I think number 4 of 5 is missing? i am not asking for more gifts, dont get me wrong, but i want you to know so you can try track it down as i'm sure it was full of lovely stuff you wouldnt want lost.

WeWishUAMerryXmasNANappyNewYr · 24/12/2006 02:27

soap is twinkleontheweb involved in this at all? i received a nappy and a wrap from them earlier that i didn't order :S

WeWishUAMerryXmasNANappyNewYr · 24/12/2006 02:29

munz · 24/12/2006 08:29

yes they were xmas! I had a lovely top from them.

theasdaxmasfairy · 24/12/2006 08:33

To itsgonnabeafabxmas

glad you got the card, enjoy your day, we've had a good year and you should too.

Take care and enjoy tomorrow

WeWishUAMerryXmasNANappyNewYr · 24/12/2006 09:58

madrose got your card - thanks so much for the money!! think i will use it in the sale now, don't much fancy shopping on xmas eve - far too stressful! haven't received any toys as of yet - unless you sent them a while back? what was in it?

Paddlechick666 · 24/12/2006 11:33

my goodness, i didn't expect to be posting on this thread again - just reading!

but this week (and I'm sorry for the delay in posting) I have received so much more!

A with dd E thank you so much for the lovely wrapped gifts. your card rang many bells for me. the victories and the battles conceded. there's a lot of bashing going on in our house too! btw, E was on my list of names too.

Heiferxmas&happyMOOYear, the clothes you have sent are lovely. all that you have sent is special and I am sure dd will look beautiful in them. glad you had fun sorting them out too.

Family H in Berks, the coats are lovely. Got to love Pumpkin Patch! and the mothercare vouchers are just so generous. they will go on new shoes i think as dd will need some soon. i can't thank you enough for helping me afford good shoes.

Mrs C H in Hungerford the decorations arrived on Thursday and I was amazed. the house is looking so festive now. dd concedes that Father Christmas as an indoor light is much less scary than the "real" thing in his grotto! Also the fimbles ferris wheel is fab. thank you so much for such thoughtfullness and generosity.

and of course a parcel full of lovely organix bits and a great fairytale mobile - thank you soapy!

now i must as amongst all these parcels there was £10 M&S voucher and i cannot remember from whom. but i thank you so very much for the generosity, i bought some lovely food treats for our day tomorrow.

dh is absolutely stunned and i am sure this has contributed to his feeling able to spend Xmas at home with us this year, this is real progress on last year.

as a family our thanks go to everyone on mumsnet and especially soapy and the person who nominated me.

if i have your email or postal addy i will send a picture card in the new year of dd enjoying her xmas.

ps: thanks to S with J in H N. Yorks for the lovely card too. Great to see your little man and it is pride of place on the mantle. hope you don't mind if i nick your idea and do the same for my givers!

Merry Christmas.
xx

paulaplumpbottom · 24/12/2006 11:38

The camera is meant for you. Extra cameras are always good to have around. There are 5 packages. I called them and they said it should have arrived yesterday but I will call again and let you know.

anorak · 24/12/2006 13:43

E in Flintshire I sent you a box containing presents for M. I am sorry it appears you haven'd had this yet (it was a late call I'm afraid). But you can expect some extra surprises after Christmas anyway.
