Some lego bargains in our local Sainsburys. Picked up one of these classic sets for £9. Camelcamelcamel says £13 is it's lowest ever price on Amazon. They had good reductions on some orchard games too and loads of dressing up costumes with 25% off. DD2 can now live her Supergirl fantasies plus discounts on stationary, felt tips etc.

The best bargains were in the 'seasonal' aisle rather than the toy aisle

Ok, so at the risk of getting a bit hung up on the Lego thing, and sorry if everyone else already knows this sort of thing, but I've found this Amazon Lego comparison where it lists all the prices (RRP, UK, then French, German sites etc) and highlights which is cheapest.

Depends what you're looking at of course, but there's some savings to be made - I just logged into German Amazon with normal details, bought 2 sets at an even higher discount than UK site and saved £10 even with postage, which was a nice find! Possibly more worthwhile with some bigger purchases...

I was in Tesco tonight and was very excited to pick up some reduced Power Ranger toys, a three pack of keys now £2 (from £8) and two cool morph vehicles with figures for £5 each (from £14). There were a few other reduced ranges, some small superhero sets, Spider-Man etc.

Morrisons are selling all their summer stuff off half price, so worth stocking up for next year? Got DS a west suit and an inflatable life jacket for a total of £9.50!

There were some my little pony equestria dolls in Sainsburys sale...£6 instead of £20. Other MLP bits too! Thanks for the build a bear info we are off there this afternoon and I had deleted the email thinking it was online only so will try for the 40% off.
