Thank you! just reserved the styling head. dd will love it!

Trumpton · 22/08/2015 19:56

Just spent time on Magpieline site and got stocking fillers for grown up stockings. Just went to sale section. Slow and irritating site but some good bargains even with £4.95 postage but spread over 9 items not too bad.

That Usborne Children's Atlas was 2.50 in March so it may be worth hanging tight for that one.

waitrosefizz · 23/08/2015 07:19

Annoyed not only did I pay £4.99 but I thought it was the one with the flaps! Saw that one at Waterstones yesterday but it's £12 or so wherever I look. Beautifully put together, I'd spend hours reading that.

Nc19999992 · 23/08/2015 07:24

I've found you all! Still had the prequel on my watch list :(

Does anyone else find they end up spending more because the bargains are too good to miss?

Just had a toy cull for dd, and it's made me realise how much crap she had!

SpottyTeacakes · 23/08/2015 07:29

Nc remember 'it's only a bargain if you need it' Smile

carrietwick · 23/08/2015 09:12

Gap have a sale on all logo items £25 for adult hoodies and £15 for kids, delivery is £4 or free if you spend £50.

Reastie · 23/08/2015 11:00

Phew, spent ages last night hopefully nearly there updating the new op

Thanks for the Elsa head offers I collect mine later today

PinkSquash · 23/08/2015 11:21

Just quickly marking my place Flowers to everyone who has offered bargains and took time out for the thread already.

Am late bargain hunting this year due to pesky work getting in the way, but I need to buy a lot less than last year. Blush

FireflyGirl · 23/08/2015 12:04

Flowers Reastie. MNHQ should invent a superhero emoticon just for you!

issynoho · 23/08/2015 12:05

Can anyone point me to cheap but not nasty Elsa and Anna dolls to go in/on a cake?- DD2 announced she wants a Frozen cake but they're either £15+ or the ones on aliexpress look trashy. Thanks

LikeSilver · 23/08/2015 12:18

My local Home Bargains had Little Tikes Cosy Coupes for £39.99 this morning.

supermariossister · 23/08/2015 13:41

They had small frozen figures elsa Anna olaf and the bloke (sorry! not a frozen household) in b and m for 1.99

daddykyller · 23/08/2015 13:41

Amazon have an amazing deal right now for 50 rolls of wrapping paper for £4.12 + £6.44 delivery.
That's mega cheap for 50 rolls.
Usual cost is over £60.

AndDeepBreath · 23/08/2015 14:47

Aw, wrapping paper out of stock now!

AnnoyedByAlfieBear · 23/08/2015 14:49

The wrapping paper is showing at over £100. Sad

issynoho · 23/08/2015 15:47

Thanks supermariosister - we have those but was thinking of the Barbie-sized ones to make the cake skirt for, iyswim.

DeathstarDame · 23/08/2015 16:03

I've been after a Dino Cozy Coupe for DS second birthday. I've found it on sale at Very for £45 (from £60). Has anyone seen them cheaper?

www.very.co.uk/little-tikes-cozy-coupe-dino/1460072869.prd?_requestid=1005502

(Possible link fail, I'm on my mobile and have never posted a link to MN ????)

NotSayingImBatman · 23/08/2015 16:30

Does anyone remember if Asda reduced their large wooden toys in the run up to Christmas in previous years?

I seem to recall things like the dolls house, toy kitchen and shop getting a fairly good discount in October time but could be imagining it. I have my eye on the wooden train table which hasn't come into stock yet but is set at £75. I have my fingers crossed it will actually be about £50...

NotSayingImBatman · 23/08/2015 16:34

Death star, code 36VDF apparently gets you £25 off a £50 spend at Very. Disclaimer: I haven't used it myself so can't confirm.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 23/08/2015 17:17

not new but cex have loads of kids Christmas films under a £1 on their website including snowman/father Christmas, polar express, a Christmas carol (jim carey one), muppets xmas ones etc. and loads of cartoon/character ones for 30-75p!

loads of others too. loads of cheap Disney ones. home on the range £1, princess and frog (Disney), planes 2 for £1.50 each up, toy story 3, emporors new groove, George of jungle 1&2 £3, robin hood, bolt, brother bear, sword in stone £3.50 loads of others at £4 and £5.

PamelaEwing · 23/08/2015 17:53

Thanks for the new OP Reastie!

Found the Playmobil Shopping Mall at Smyths toys for the bargain price of £50!! Never seen it that low! It's almost double that everywhere else!

You can't actually buy it online, only click n' collect, though there are a lot of their shops to choose from up and down the country Grin

DeathstarDame · 23/08/2015 18:25

The code didn't work unfortunately not saying, thank you anyway! :)

JeffreyNeedsAHobby · 23/08/2015 19:07

nocuts I am looking at Cex but it's the high street gamers site (where they once told me they wouldn't take a brand new ipod shuffle to sell because they couldn't tell if it was genuine!). I don't think that's where you mean?
