I lov the idea of give someone a popcorn maker, popcorn tub, popping corn, and a DVD for a gift. I know just the person for it but alas its too budget busting for this person. If anyone sees any popcorn makers even cheaper than £13 or knows where I migh find one please let me know.

Postage is not cheap at £4.95, but they do have free click and collect, and they seem to have a fair few stores so hopefully one near you.

But skint just not but Dh and the kids would love a popcorn maker - can you buy sprays and flavourings in supermarkets?

Asda sell different popcorn flavourings for about a pound each. Think there is a chocolate, sweet+salty, a lime one, and possibly a chilli one. They come in a powder, and you shake it over the popcorn.

Great so can easily replace them and keep using the it without having to order online. Sticking it on my wish list for Dh!

Also a 'tip' from me which most people possibly already do ... I have an 'cheap items' wish list - when I see cheap things eg under £2.50 which I might like sometime in the future I add them to this list then when I need one to push me over the free delivery limit I look here.

Does anyone else still have stuff left from last year to use this year? I have 8 Snowman loo rolls, some Santa tissues and some IKEA reindeer pasta...

Does anyone from the threads two years ago remember the Dunelm fleecy blankets which were about £8 each? I suggested that my mother my get them for the DC as I thought they might like something to snuggle under in the winter. I think that they have been used every single day since!
