Side, I'm on the Bargain Chat FB group. How do I get added to the main one?

For those on O2, on the O2 Priority app you can get a code for 35% off online on The Body Shop. Valid until 9am Monday.

AnOdd how about a rubber chicken Grin

ColeslawSandwich · 16/08/2015 07:30

HardToKnow here is a link to the 4 activity books for £10. When you "proceed to checkout" the discount is shown just before you pay.

AnOddOod · 16/08/2015 07:45

Grin ohhelp & coleslaw

SoupDragon · 16/08/2015 08:26

Those activity books on Amazon are an absolute bargain! There must be a mistake, surely? How can it make sense to include £9.99 books in a 4 for £10 deal?

SoupDragon · 16/08/2015 08:30

I see some are available cheaper from other sellers individually.

peppapissinpig · 16/08/2015 08:30

Ovo with the wax stamp thingy, how do you get the wax? Do you just light a candle and let it drip? Sorry to sound so dense!

OctopusArmEnvy · 16/08/2015 08:57

The works have really nice Enid blyton or Thomas the tank engine collection books. Hard back and down to £7 each. Bought in store so can't link but will try to attach pic.

Hi all, I was lurking on the prequel thread, but saw this on HUKD and thought it might help someone (if I can remember how to do links!)
Mike the Knight castle gatehouse set reduced from £22 to £7 at Tesco direct.

PamelaEwing · 16/08/2015 09:48

Thanks the amazon 4 book deal is a great Grin

ShoopShoop · 16/08/2015 09:51

I'm so excited these threads are back Smile and thanks to all who have contributed so far.

I've ordered the activity books from Amazon, the Imaginext lions den thing and the Playmobil fairy thing so far.

On another thread there was a great suggestion of creating a Pinterest board of all your purchases as a visual "aide-memoire" which I've done and seems to be working well so far!

I was in my local Tesco yesterday and they had the talking and singing palace pets down to £6.50. They're currently £12.99 on Amazon. I picked up one for DD and one for the "birthday drawer". I thought it would be a nice present combined with one of the Amazon activity books?

Thanks again all Smile

AnnoyedByAlfieBear · 16/08/2015 10:10

Activity books purchased!!

SoupDragon · 16/08/2015 10:29

I'm tempted to go and order more activity books as birthday presents.

SoupDragon · 16/08/2015 10:33

A Pinterest board is a brilliant idea!

WaitingForEgg · 16/08/2015 10:49

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts What about a really lovely dressing up box if they are into that kind of play? Lots of outfits and "props" to put on their own plays etc

Whatabout · 16/08/2015 11:15

Thanks for reposting the activity books link, fabulous bargain!

Kraggle · 16/08/2015 11:23

I've now bought my nieces November birthday and Christmas presents and a birthday present for Lego mad Dh so far so thank you everyone!

pintsizeprincess · 16/08/2015 11:57

Another thanks for reposting the activity books link for Amazon. Just ordered some for DD Christmas and for present drawer. Must confess I felt slightly giddy with excitement when I saw the amount I'd saved when I checked out!!. Brilliant offer thank you

306235388 · 16/08/2015 12:51

Thanks for the activity book link - have ordered them including 2 'where's Santa' ones for Xmas eve box and niece.

They aren't very thick looking at the dimensions 0.8-1.3cm thick but they should still be ok I think.

OvO · 16/08/2015 13:07

Peppa, I'm not sure if you're meant to use a specific wax (lots on Amazon for a couple of pounds, I need to buy some and see) but I just used a red candle and let it drip.

I used a long candle rather than a tea light or similar - easier to direct the drips. It's a bit messy until you get the hang of it but that's half the fun. Xmas Smile

maplepecanpie · 16/08/2015 13:38

Coleslaw, thank you for that link! Just saved over £20!

MooseyMoo · 16/08/2015 14:34

Ooooh you're all back

Gutted the Playmobil Santa workshop advent calendar is sold out online

milkmilklemonade12 · 16/08/2015 15:38

no it's not moosey

£20 so not super cheap but reasonable bearing in mind you'll pay £30 in Hamleys :)

nickdrakeslovechild · 16/08/2015 15:42

I am the one with the Pinterest idea. I found last year even though I had a list it was hard to remember everything. Most things bought online have the ability to be pinned so it's really easy.
When I feel a twitch coming on I just have a look at what I've already got and it's helping so far!
