Oh come all ye Countdowners

The countdown to Christmas 2015 has already started. I've ordered some clothes in the next sale so even the present buying has started.

This time I'm more determined to keep buying throughout the year, and keep posting here regularly.

Wish steroids would do their stuff! Wheezing away still, don't feel like sleep is on the way though. Took them at lunch time so have a feeling won't sleep properly Sad

Hello countdowners!

I have a healthy foundation laid away for next xmas already Grin some wonderful Djeco art kits from Alex and Alexia sale for bdays and xmas, some stocking bits and good ideas for next years gifts to start watching out for, like Furby and Lucy the Dog.

Its wonderful to have parcels arriving after xmas.....helps with the come down.

2015, bring ....it....on......

I wish it was Christmas. I was humming a song in lesson today. Kids told me off. Five minutes later they were all humming it too, ha ha ha.

I know bit down in the dumps bout wasted week and have a bit of "cabin" fever.
Might go to the cinema tomorrow if I feel ok to cheer me up.

Did you see the programme about the 6 families with new puppies this week seven? Followed there first year.

I half-watched one episode but I've got it recorded on the freesat chesty. I'm not sure I'll watch it though, it was really slated on a thread in the doghouse. Cinema sounds a good plan.

mama glad your shit week is over, hopefully the next one will be better :)

I'm so tired after 2 rubbish nights, DD1 was asking to go on the iPad at 2am Hmm then managed to wake DD2. They both went back to sleep but DD1 was awake again at 5. DH is at work so planning a DVD, hot chocolate and a blanket tonight.

We are all tired and feeling the January blues I think today resulting in DS crying because I was a bit harsh on him and me crying because I sent DS and DD to school with no gloves Sad (they keep losing them but still I feel awful)

I'm off work, spent 3 hours waiting at the walk in centre at the weekend. Had horrendous rib and back pain. He reckons it's muscular so gave me some painkillers. Can't work out what's worse the pain or the zombie sick constipated ness from the tablets Hmm

And there was me thinking no one else would be thinking about xmas 2015 yet! Made a start on stocking fillers for dd who will be 3.

  • Book (Dumbo)
  • Peppa and George holiday figures
  • Frozen cutlery set
  • Frozen whiteboard and markers

Also got a pillow pet on order at argos. Feeling quite organised!

I have done so much already, I went a bit mad on LO last year so kept a lot back so Iv'e had already got a good start on this Christmas.

I got some lovely things in the ciate sale so thats all the females in my family sorted. Xmas Smile Went up into the loft yesterday and realised I have got most of my LO done, just some sylvanians and her wish list from grandparents to get which I won't sort out until much nearer the time.

I think the sales this year have been really hit and miss, but luckily last years were so so good I have stocked up on 2 years worth!

Christmas 2014 was stressful so I am looking forward to this one, we are going to have a lot more down time for just our family doing fun easy stuff, not running around like a headless chicken. I think we spend so much time thinking about others that this year we forgot about what we wanted. That is going to change.

Do others send out thank you cards? We send them to everyone who has bought for us, they are all personalised with what they got for us and / or our LO and we have not had a single thank you card back! One person who's LO I had bought a special gift for didn't even acknowledge they had it! I had to ring them to check they did. It's making me rethink a lot of things..... sorry rant over.

Is anyone here? I'm not sure I was ever completely honest with you Countdowners about my DS and his condition, I wasn't in a place where I talked about it openly. We've decided that he deserves to have an extra Christmas each year, maybe bonkers but we're celebrating an extra Christmas in July, thread here

I am back on the countdown now. Celebrated DS birthday on Saturday which is my last DC birthday for the year so all focus on Christmas now!
