The countdown to Christmas 2015 has already started. I've ordered some clothes in the next sale so even the present buying has started.

This time I'm more determined to keep buying throughout the year, and keep posting here regularly.

I'm in! Follow the Christmas thread all year and hate it when it's quiet!

I have bought DD(5) a hat and mittens for her stocking next year. I wanted to buy them for her this Christmas but I had done enough so was good! Just bought them in the sale for next year!

I have also bought DSS the Guinness book of world records for his birthday in May and booked DS's party for July! I have booked tickets to see horrible histories at the theatre for the 5 of us plus 3 of DS's friends.

My new book has been started with every event for the next year in it and the beginnings of lists for next Christmas! Love planning

Can't believe it's only two weeks ago that I arrived in Lapland. Got myself a lovely Scrapbook, will get going in the New Year to keep the memories forever.

My silver tinsel tree arrived today. Looked at it, it's lovely, back in the box and now in the loft. Is it Christmas yet?

I forgot to take a photo of Daisy pup, I realised as soon as we left I hadn't taken one, and was too polite to go back and ask if I could. But anyway she the cutest friendliest little thing, just perfect with wavy chocolate fur. And she loved DS and kept following him, which is fantastic as he's the main reason we're getting her. His progressive muscle-wasting condition means in 3-4 years he'll likely be in a wheelchair, we wanted her to be a companion to him.

We finished our Boxset (The 100), were in the middle of watching when we heard fireworks go off. Can't believe we managed to stay awake until after midnight. Continued watching after, so nice and cosy.

We were watching season 2 already, got it all online. Can give you the link if you like. Season 2 is also on a break, but back on mid January so not too long to wait.

No, not decided yet, but will book this month for sure. I can only imagine how much your tickets were. Had a quick look the other day and I wanted to cry. I'm trying to convince DS not wanting to go there in a few years time.

I'm going to go through the gazillion pictures of Lapland and find the best for printing so I can start my scrapbook soon. And I'll kick DHs ass at beating him at Monopoly

The decorations are down, it's officially over now.

Mine are still up, feel too crap to take them down yet. Just ignoring the tree until feel better

I was back at work today. Inset, the most boring external speaker ever, even the leadership team agreed that it was a waste of time. Ho hum...

Took my Christmas tree and all the other decoration down at school. It looks so bare! Kids back in tomorrow.

After negotiating the worlds rudest receptionist I now have antibiotics and steroids. Hope they work quickly.

You gave me your bug, Chesty. I feel rotten today, had to cancel dentist appointment as there is no chance I can keep my mouth open. Really bad throat and cough, plus nose blocked.
