Does anyone own either falcon knights castle or dragon knights castle? Or both?

How much more impressive is falcon knights?

Is the other much smaller?

andadietcoke · 19/11/2014 14:34

They are iamapaleontologist and I'm grateful for the suggestion, but the poundland ones are £1 for 4 and I need about 30 I think.

BettyBitesBums · 19/11/2014 14:40

Oh Eco, you've done it now, I'm going to have to drive to Lidl this afternoon!!! I do NEED cake tins though and DDs favourite toy at nursery IS a garage...... Xmas Grin

zipzap · 19/11/2014 14:41

I've just bought a job lot of few duracell torches to go in stockings and have by me as extra little presents. They are probably quite small as they only take an AAA battery but they were just £1 each from the poundshop.com.

It's just like an online pound shop - mixture of proper brands and ones you haven't heard of...

postage is free if you spend over £30, £3 if it's under £20, £2 if it's £20-£24 and £1 if it's £25-£29.

But even buying a few of them the £3 postage still doesn't make them too bad - the thing that looked closest to them on amazon was £5 per torch.

Unfortunately the only cookie cutters they had were the round crinkly ones in a set of three - no christmas ones!

MissRainbowBrite · 19/11/2014 14:42

There are some lovely Melissa and Doug bits coming up later on the Amazon daily deals. A couple of dressing up sets, more play food, stamper sets and a basic skills board which looks really nice with buttons, laces etc.

IAmAPaleontologist · 19/11/2014 15:02

Ah ok andadietcoke I get it.

Well in bulk you have stuff like this seller selling a 35pc bundle of cutters and presses for £13.99 inc postage

Or this seller does a pack of 5 for 99p postage is £1.50 but if you contact seller they might combine it for you ordering several sets.

I have an ELC 20% off code valid till 24/11. If anyone wants it, PM me as I don't always get a chance to read the whole thread.

I got a couple of bargains in home bargains today. Anyone's dc fans of disneys brave? They had the three little brothers in a set woth the three little bears they change into. A cute little set for any brave fans for £3, especially anyone who managed to get the £6 Merida in home bargains recently. A really substantial gift for not much money at all.

Also, blue nosed friends figures. The same size and 'furry' feel as Sylvanian families and just as sweet imo. A pack of four figures for £1.99. My 4 yr old with love playing with these alongside her sf, she won't care they're not actual sf and the box will bulk up her present pile. A good present for anyone buying for children's charities too imo.

I've just looked at dds Elsa dress I bought from Asda, the one that was in with the halloween things. The ticket says part of a two piece set, but I only have the dress. Can anyone tell me what's missing?

mimolette · 19/11/2014 15:43

Awesome thread, thank you everyone!
Those of you who got Body Shop goodies for teachers - what did you buy? I was thinking of using the offers and making up a mini hamper for each teacher with little travel sized bubble bath etc which I remember from my teenage days, but it looks like they stopped doing those years ago...

dandelionsRflowers · 19/11/2014 15:45

Also I'm so excited, I've just found out there's a B and M opening here, Aberdeen. At last we have some decent shops here what with Smyths opening earlier in the year too. Any tips for a B and M shop Grin

Does anyone know where I can get cheap Littlest Pet Shop figures? Don't care what kind!

My 19mo loves moving them about and lining them up but theyre expensive especially on eBay!

TiredNow · 19/11/2014 16:27

wildflowers I've got everyone tartan pjs too! Got DS1s from Morrisons surprisingly but they could easily be girls

dandelionsRflowers · 19/11/2014 16:31

i've just ordered Hama Beads in a tub with the boards down to £7.50 on Amazon. Lowest price according to the Camels. It's only the primary colours though.

IAlreadyToldYou · 19/11/2014 16:40

dandelions, my dds Elsa dress from asda came with a plait on a clip, could that be what's missing?

MissRainbowBrite · 19/11/2014 16:44

Did anyone use the Aliexpress seller Shanghai Candybaby for their Frozen dolls? I ordered them on the 4th and not had anything yet and the tracker number says not valid. Just wondering whether to hang on or order from ebay and resell the others if they do turn up.

Notso · 19/11/2014 16:45

I've got a single use code for 15% off full priced items at Ernest Jones if anyone's interested.

IAlreadyToldYou · 19/11/2014 16:47

Talking of Elsa dresses, my local home bargains had some (not official frozen ones but pretty much identical to the asda ones). I looked for a price to report back here but couldn't see one on either the tag or shelf but if anyone is looking for a reasonably priced Epsa dress I'm guessing home bargains will have priced them pretty cheaply. Their dressing up stuff is usually a really good price!

Asda had those mug recipe books with a mug for £5, hadn't heard of them before this thread! Might have bought a couple for nephews but they only had them in pink boxes.

asda also had a big peppa pig set reduced to £20 from £40. Also saw frozen hat, gloves, scarf set for £8.

dandelionsRflowers · 19/11/2014 16:52

IAlready That's probably is what's missing. The dress isn't on the website or in the shops now, so I'll just forget about it, I was going to be buying a crown to go with it anyway. (And dd has been wearing her hair in an Elsa-like plait for days!)

Notso · 19/11/2014 17:08

Have posted this on another thread today but Real Techniques make up brushes which are always on my wish list as DD loves them are really cheap on amazon today.

BrightestBulbinBox · 19/11/2014 17:10

I ordered a toy from aliexpress Lucky Plush on 6 November and it arrived today! Less than 2 weeks. I got the team Umizoomi Bot, which is no longer listed, but they have lots of Pixar/Disney characters, kids movies' characters, and even Frozen. Mine came with official tags and looks to be official surplus rather than seconds.

iloveholidays · 19/11/2014 18:12

pickle I've got a littlest pet shop set that doesn't get used anymore... happy to send on if you want to pm me your address.
