Are there any h&m codes anyone knows about? All 3 dc desperate for new clothes and there's a few bits in there I d like to stock up with.

Neeko · 18/11/2014 21:33

Sneakret. All the foot spas seem to be reduced on Argos.

Waitingonasunnyday · 18/11/2014 21:46

Reastie, when my Nanna had dementia she loved:

A teddy bear with a bright pink bow that spoke when you pressed it's ear (recorded message of my kids saying Love You Nanna)

Tissue paper flower craft set (v simple)

A photo mug with recent pictures of her on it with different relatives. So when we visited (and introduced ourselves each time) we could show her we were on her mug with her and she trusted who we were a little bit more.

Though now my Grandad has dementia and none of those would be suitable for him - it's such a shitty illness and so hard not to patronise sufferers. You have my sympathies x

PurpleHebe1 · 18/11/2014 21:59

Can't remember who wanted a magic set but Hobbycraft have a large Marvin' s magic set in store and in their brochure so probably on line - half price at £12.50. You could also try my code from last thread which gave 20% off if it still works and click and collect t for free delivery. Mine took 8 days but they rang me when it arrived

PurpleHebe1 · 18/11/2014 22:06

Hobbycraft 20% off MBXM24T may still work

happsymum · 18/11/2014 22:12

Any 'Next' codes about? Need a suit ordering and cant face paying full price before looking for a bargain now addict?

WildFlowersAttractBees · 18/11/2014 22:12

I am mentally spending my nectar points! Even off to another store to use them tomorrow as it has a much larger selection.

nickdrakeslovechild · 18/11/2014 22:13

Reastie how about a tangle creation I have been looking for a present for an autistic friend who loves tactile things and from what I have read its also fantastic for older people with alzheimer's.

WildFlowersAttractBees · 18/11/2014 22:15

20% off M&S coats until 8am.

IAlreadyToldYou · 18/11/2014 22:21

NeedToEmigrate, there's a card for 20% off h&m in this month's glamour magazine (mag is £2 but comes with a free nail polish worth £11 and a body shop gift card too). Not sure if you can use it online too - have misplaced mine Xmas Confused. If you are able to use it online there's a code above posted earlier today for free delivery.

happsymum · 18/11/2014 22:21

It might be a once only code as doesnt say but 4UGGW in VERY gives you 20 credit when ordering over 100 (for those with credit accounts with them - might be worth opening one then paying back the full amount for 20 for nothing :D)

other codes mentioned at the beggining of the thread all seem to be expired for Very - 4R4VT and 4J4JW

Galaxymum · 18/11/2014 22:38

The Entertainer had some good deals today. All their science sets were £6 which seemed a bargain half price. I got jenga boom for £12.50 at 30% off too.

WheresTheCoffee · 18/11/2014 22:50

Needtoemigrate I have a one use 20% discount card for H&M which I can't afford to use spent all my money on throws and frozen goodies! pm me if you'd like it and I can post it to you?

clr2014 · 18/11/2014 22:52

I've just joined quidco - have downloaded the app but can't see anything about the £50 challenge. What do I do next?

Opheliabumps · 18/11/2014 22:54

reastie my niece worked with dementia patients and soft toys are very popular, as ninja said upthread.

They do seem to invoke some sort of memory and bring comfort to the patient,

NorksEnormous · 18/11/2014 23:03

PamelaEwing · 19/11/2014 06:12

Saw this Yankee Candle Peppermint Swirls Medium Jar Gift Set (really nice Christmassy box and very minty smell) in Clinton Cards yesterday for £9.99, also available online (+ deliv costs).

DrankSangriaInThePark · 19/11/2014 06:15

Oh no, keepcalmanddrinkwine, what a 'mare. Hope your bank refund you soon as. Flowers

clr- the quidco £50 will be automatic if you shop at so many retailers who are participating, the ones which are have a wee blue parcel on their merchant page.

I think I might need a window box bird feeder for my Mum and/or the cats which seem to gravitate towards her. Grin
