Argos don't have any significant money off their Sylvanian Families, but they are on 3 for 2 atm, which could work out well if you're then looking to buy families/furniture too.

Maple Manor at £64.99.

AnnaBegins · 11/11/2014 22:08

So sorry it was December Elle not glamour that the l'Occitane code ELLEHC was in! Will report my post.

VinoTime · 11/11/2014 22:08

You could always buy her the small starter home and another SF playset, like the school or grocery store or something.

Toys R Us do free home delivery over £29.99 and they're also giving you a free Sylvanian Family worth £15.99 when you spend over £50 on SF's (easily done).

VinoTime · 11/11/2014 22:14

SF Maple Manor at £59.06.

SF Log Cabin at £32.82.

SF Cedar Terrace at £32.01.

I haven't ever used the company before so I can't tell you if they're good or bad. They do do free standard UK delivery.

@ Reastie
The 4 DVDs for £10 link is broke :(

Went to look for it though and found some other cool things:

( 4 DVDs for £10 )

3 for £10 on Hundreds of Paperbacks The minecraft books are in this offer- so makes it a really good deal for those.

50 percent off Autumn Fashion

And this: Playmobil City Action 5283 Flatbed Construction Truck
(This is £20 or more everywhere else, but currently just £10.17 delivered on Amazon)

thegreylady · 11/11/2014 22:38

Ohhelp I am struggling with minecraft lego as it would be for 8 yr old dgs but it all says 10+. He is a very accomplished lego modeller though.

SpaghettiMeatballs · 11/11/2014 22:43

clr2014 · 11/11/2014 22:45

Titsalinabumsquash - i saw a game in matalan that i thought i would get for xmas day - my extended family not really into games but thought this'd be a laugh...can't find it on their website but it's name that tune with kazoos. £6

HAMPER / BROWNIE LEADER presents Heartily recommend Lidls Christmas Spiced Fudge. It is DIVINE and only £1.20 a box.

Now, please slow down everyone as I can't keep up!

OH, and one last heads up - bright sports direct style trainers (nike, addidas etc) can be bought in MATALAN (my fave place this year). Great for those of us who've got a discount code waiting to be used!

LucyTheValiant · 11/11/2014 22:47

Has anyone used Light in the Box? They have some bargainous necklaces here but I'm not sure if they are dodgy or not... www.lightinthebox.com/c/flower-necklaces-jq-11-10-14-11-16-14_30786

zipzap · 11/11/2014 22:52

Does anybody know if the christmas gift stuff in Sainsburys is likely to have a 3 for 2 offer on it or 25% off or similar?

I'm sure they have done previously and I'm holding back from buying a couple of bits full price but I don't want to get caught out (like I did on the Book People buying the mug cake book only to discover it had gone out of stock) and then end up having to think of something else instead...

Which reminds me - I was going to use the mug cake book from the book people and a cheap mug as a gift for assorted relatives that are university age but the books have gone out of stock - has anybody seen any cheaply anywhere else?

RJnomore · 11/11/2014 22:58

Zip there's a mug in boots 3 for 2 with cake recipes or something marked on - think it was £8 - ill go look for you

shadesofwinter · 11/11/2014 23:00

Lurker here - thanks for all the great ideas and bargains!

The Playmobil pool with fountain is just over £18 on Amazon right now - best ever price according to Camelcamelcamel. Have purchased and need to persuade my 3-year-old that she wants it!

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 11/11/2014 23:03

Does anybody know if boots are redoing their £12 worth of points on a £50 spend in London stores? I've tried searching but on the website London isn't on the drop down list! Argh!

(Brent x, oxford st, wood green are preferable!)

ipswichwitch · 11/11/2014 23:08

zip Lakeland also have the cake mug with ingredients level markers in the inside. It may have been £8 (really can't remember now!)

IgnoreMeEveryOtherFuckerDoes · 11/11/2014 23:09

Brentcross Thursday 13th Ihope if you search Middlesex it will bring up all the London areas

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 12/11/2014 00:01

Bollocks, I won't get there then ...thanks so much for looking ignore !

Notso · 12/11/2014 00:23

zip Asda have a mug cake book and mug set for £5. It's different to the book people one and OOS online but they had loads in both my local stores.

Hmmmwhatnow · 12/11/2014 00:29

vino did you pay full price for the dream house? DD1 would love one but I can't stretch to £200 and match up for the other 2 girls!

Also anyone with toottoot stuff think DD2 would love these but they look like if you buy just 1 there isn't much track? How many sets do you need to buy to make them fun? Confused

Earlytorise · 12/11/2014 00:43

My goodness these threads move fast!!!

I'm in need of a bit of help. Both DS (4) and DS (2) would like slippers or slipper socks with a cenrtal pompom on the front after seeing me yesterday in a pair I got from Primark ages ago and then forgot about.

Does anyone know where I can get any? (I need child foot sizes 11 and 8)

WocketInMyPocket2 · 12/11/2014 00:45

Hmmmwhatnow I'd like to know about Toot Toot track as well, I've just bought the train station but not sure if thats ok on its own.
