I got the Tesco annual delivery slot yesterday, as mentioned further up the thread, with 50% off. I went through top cashback and have just seen I will get 10% of the original price, pre 50% discount. My annual midweek delivery has cost me £12! That's about 20p per delivery per week!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 11/11/2014 20:51

Brilliant ideas thanks! I think I've got his next seven Christmases sorted! You guys are bloody marvellous Grin

I feel like I need to find someone else to buy for just to keep shopping. Maybe I can make some new friends between now and Christmas.

I used the body shop 40% off code recently and have had a right nightmare getting my stuff
1st lot arrived and it wasn't my order.
2nd time lucky and the bronzer was smashed and covered everything else in the parcel.
I've given up now and asked for a refund.

DD(7) has just announced that FC will be bringing her a "dolls house, for little dolls and it will be lovely and girly" (?)

Any doll house buying advice or recommendations? I wonder if she'd prefer sylvanians? HELP!

WildFlowersAttractBees · 11/11/2014 21:22

RJnomore thank you for the glamour mag/body shop card update... A quick Google shows its not rare though!!!

RJnomore · 11/11/2014 21:33

I know it isn't rare! Probably not many people bother harassing emailing them about it though.

Btw, Annabegins said a little upthread there's a code in the same copy of glamour for free loccitane hand creams - I can't find it, so I've pmed her to ask her to check its the right magazine/page/month.

RJnomore · 11/11/2014 21:35

Onthemountain, there are lots of my little pony applejacks all over the place, it's one of the 6 core ponies.

Can't believe how close i am to having all my shopping done!

ModerationInEverything · 11/11/2014 21:39

Thanks Ohhelp I've had a look around a few of them, but to me the Sylvanian families look much more fun. Lots of details, different accessories, different families etc? Not sure if she wants "dolls" though - will have to probe a bit more!

herecomesthsun · 11/11/2014 21:45

Just bought this invisible ink pen and UV light, good stocking filler for under £2: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00GIONL94?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

VinoTime · 11/11/2014 21:49

ModerationInEverything Amazon had one of the Sylvanian houses down to £35.00 on lightening deals a couple of days ago. Gah!

I picked my dd up a wooden dolls house a couple of years back for £10 in Morrisons. Total fluke that they had it - RRP was £55.00 Shock DD has played and played and played with it. I bought her some cheap wooden furniture/people from Amazon to go with it and it's been one of the best buys ever. It's starting to look a little shabby now (too much play time!) so I'll replace it in May with a Sylvanian house for her Birthday. She did initially want them for Christmas but "changed her mind", so I've put what I did get her away for then.

I'll have a gander and see if I can spot you any bargains. I'm finding myself bored to tears having finished my shopping now Sad

SouthernOne · 11/11/2014 21:53

Don't know if this counts as a bargain, but Boots have their Christmas Events Wednesday and Thursday this week, store specific. I believe it's an extra 1200 points per £50 spend

VinoTime · 11/11/2014 21:54

ELC Manor House is half price at £80.00 right now. It's huge and comes with furniture.

ModerationInEverything · 11/11/2014 21:59

VinoTime (great name) she used to have a house like that but this time wants something that closes and looks like a "proper house" Thanks
