Lemon, two of us have ordered from Lesta221 with good experiences - I ordered a couple of the soft MC toys and then ordered more once I saw they first ones. Other poster said hers arrived in two weeks exactly, though there are no guarantees!

lemonmarmalade · 15/11/2014 13:56

Thanks iggi, I'll have a look

DrankSangriaInThePark · 15/11/2014 14:10

Poop- I'm sure I have an email for 3 for 1 photo calendars. I need to get cracking and do mine as well. Will go and look who it's from.

BettyBitesBums · 15/11/2014 14:15

I'm sure someone has mentioned this but there's 20% off at White Company until midnight tomorrow not that there's many bargains to be had there

Xmas Grin

Yes, it's Vistaprint, 3x1 or 5x2. Might need code MOREGIFTS valid until 20th.

Shame as Vistaprint are OK, but IME a bit Ryanair-ish. ie the price is always more than it seems and the quality is not as good as others.

Photobox have an up to 80% sale on, though haven't checked how that works on calendars, if at all.

From our July birthdays we have Anna and Elsa toddler dolls (DD1) from Disney, Barbie sized dolls (DD1) and the Disney soft dolls (DD3) as well as Sven and Olaf. DD3 has now gone off Frozen and is into My Little Pony ConfusedConfusedConfused

Pigley - I've got half wrapped already, I wrap it as I get it, black bag it and stick it up the loft ready for DP to lug down, DCs are allowed to ask SC for two items, one large one smaller, the rest is from us.

DD3 has asked for beds for her cuddlies (they're her children) and a cot. I got a baby annabell's brothers cot and a set of bunk beds from Very £50 but used a £25 off voucher. But now I need to get boys bedding. Am thinking eBay?

PoopPoooDeDooo · 15/11/2014 14:40

Thanks Sangria & Coke! I agree with vista being Ryanairish too Sangria, I shall have a Google and see if there's any other offers and let you know

nodramamama · 15/11/2014 15:24

Thank you Notso and Wyld he was running round this morning with catalogues from 6.30am pointing things out Shock so I do need to follow your tips, am def saying that santa brings surprises! Presume you wrap presents from santa differently, so that gifts from relatives don't ruin Santa's style Grin.

Also does that mean that we the parents got him nothing and his main pressies are all from santa? Confused Last year santa got all the presents for him...

Thanks to whoever mentioned the o2 priority app and free calendar from WHSmith. The staff told me it works on literally any calendar, so even £9.99. Brilliant!

ConsiderablyBiggerBuns · 15/11/2014 15:48

lemon just to reiterate! I ordered the full set of mine craft plushies from lesta221, they were the best value I could find on eBay and delivered very quickly - 2 weeks max. Nice enough too.

Methenyouplus4 · 15/11/2014 15:49

Is the £20 IKEA voucher you get from buying a real tree only valid after Christmas? X

Gatekeeper · 15/11/2014 15:49

lemonmarmalade I got mine from this shop on ebay. The drop down menu has the full range of soft toys plus swords, axes, cushions etc. Took about ten days to get to me and I found the things I ordered very good quality

PamelaEwing · 15/11/2014 15:55

Need some help for my 2 eight year old nieces please... They love barbie abs have the dolls but no camper vans, boat etc. I've ordered some wardrobes and extra dresses from China, but do you have any barbie ideas that won't break the bank? I don't see how I could get campervan as so pricey. I have £10 left for each of them... Thanks in advance!

Neeko · 15/11/2014 16:13

Ok so I ordered the screaming monkeys recommended about 8 threads ago (I'm a sheep Smile) and now that they have arrived I need to know what they do! Can anyone help?

Notsodramamama We put a few presents from mum and dad under the tree. We tell the dc that we don't buy them much at Christmas as we pay for all the other Christmas treats and buy presents for all the family. We also remind them that we buy their birthday presents and that they receive many gifts from family at Christmas. They are not allowed to request that we buy them anything. It all must be surprises and it's sometimes clothes. It works for us and that's how it happened for DH and I when we were little. Smile

Neeko · 15/11/2014 16:18

Sorry for the blend in names there Blush

There's a Barbie's sister and her pony on amazon for £10 if that's any use?

IAlreadyToldYou · 15/11/2014 16:25

Reading this thread has made me realise that we do things completely different in our house to what other people seem to be doing re Father Christmas. In our house Santa brings everything but all the presents are from someone eg me and dh or other relatives, nothing is actually from fc himself. Is that weird? The dc write a list for fc and he chooses things from it but dh and I / other relations set the budget and send the money to fc. I find that gets around the whole 'why do poorer/richer children have different amounts?' sorts of questions. Does anyone else do it this way? I've never thought about it before and didn't realise children had gifts from fc until I read about about it on here.

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 15/11/2014 16:29

Our dc get three presents each from lists from fc
Tbh have never had many questions around it

IAlreadyToldYou · 15/11/2014 16:33

Are there by any chance any 'baby doll' experts about? The whole thing is a bloody minefield. Dd wants a baby that 'does things' so for eg cries/can be fed etc. Do I go for baby Annabel/Tony Tears/Baby Born or another make? / What model? Any advice would be much appreciated (budget under £40 but could go to £50 at a push if it's a great one). Flowers

IAlreadyToldYou · 15/11/2014 16:36

Oops, I meant Tiny Tears obviously.
I don't know why but Tony Tears sounds like one creepy doll. Confused

wibblyjelly · 15/11/2014 16:40

Just bought snowman loo roll from Wilkos and Frozen kitchen towel from pound land. DH said 'Great, we can clean up mess with Olaf, and wipe our asses with The Snowman'Smile
