Only valid today (the Book People code), and doesn't stack.

Nodramamama my DS hit the "I want I want" stage this year at about 4.5, all stuff he'd never look at again once unwrapped. I found that rather than saying "no you don't", saying "oh do you, ok, I'll put it on your list" worked a treat. I explained 'the list' was for ideas for Xmas and birthday presents, he saw me add them to the notes on my iPad, and he seemed happy that his 'want' had been acknowledged. When it came to deciding what he wanted for Xmas/birthday (24 Dec [hmmm]) he chose something completely different, had forgotten all the other stuff completely. (Thank goodness, it was all shite Grin) Your DS is a bit younger though, but might be worth a try?

wyldstile · 15/11/2014 10:09

Hmm even..
10% off Baker Ross with XA191 before 12th Dec.
I hatched a mini dinosaur egg from Amazon (on the OP) this week. Just to see what happened (too excited to wait till Xmas). I currently have a slightly slimey 2 inch long blue dinosaur shaped rubber thing in a cup of water hidden in our bedroom. DH hasn't spotted it yet...

Came on the post the Debenhams reduction, but too late as always! Grin

ZenNudist · 15/11/2014 10:16

I'm really Hmm about batcave. I had it on my amazon order last night and deleted it. It gets expensive buying villains to go with. Now I'm regretting missing out.

Do we think that's it for imaginext batcave price drops this Christmas?

worm77daisy · 15/11/2014 10:28

Please may I have the WhiteStuff code PizzaPasta?

HangingInAGruffaloStance · 15/11/2014 10:38

Hi all, I've been lurking and just wanted to do a shout out for Costco! Went last week and got all my wrap, craft bits, gift tags, cards etc for such a bargainous price I can't even talk about it. 45 me of lovely ribbon for three quid! Sixty lovely hand made gift tags for a fiver! Etc etc. Plus they had plenty of lovely toys including a beautiful gigantic dolls house with a pool for 80 quid. Don't forget costco if you know someone with a card x

HangingInAGruffaloStance · 15/11/2014 12:03

Yes Costco is great. Have ordered the Kidcraft vintage kitchen for £85. Have seen it on sale £140 to £200 elsewhere!

lilyloo · 15/11/2014 12:11

I'm on the look out for a Transformer Grimlock, flip and spin or some such name, if anyone spots one at a good price ? Thanks. Thanks

NiceCupOfTeaAndASitDown · 15/11/2014 12:22

Not sure why I'm still here because I'm almost done (must not get the twitch must not get the twitch) but I noticed on Ikea's website today that the top part of their play kitchen is down from £20 to just £4, it makes the complete kitchen £49 instead of £65. bit gutted as we bought ours a few months ago! they've also got lots of discounted kitchen type toy accessories

Pigleychez · 15/11/2014 12:26

Happy bunny today as the postman delivered the Elsa and Anna soft dolls (50cm) I ordered from Ali Express. Ordered them on 30th Oct so plenty of time for xmas if anyone was unsure

DH was wondering which DD would be having what doll and just rolled his eyes when I pulled out 2 sets of both dolls :)

I'm actually quite pleased with the girls present stash (mostly bargains!).. I'm excited so know they will be. Now need to decided which Santa will bring as i'm reluctant to let him have all the praise for the good stuff!

When's everyone going to start wrapping? Im itching to get started but worry that they wrapping will get torn/wrinkled when they get put away again. (Currently all crammed at the back of my wardrobe)

PoopPoooDeDooo · 15/11/2014 12:28

lemonmarmalade · 15/11/2014 13:39

Hello everyone,

I've seen a few mentions of the minecraft toys available from China on ebay, are there any particular sellers you have found to be good?

Also do you think they are likely to arrive in time? I ordered dd a frozen dress from China a while back and it took about 6 weeks to arrive.

Thanks

GreatSoprendo · 15/11/2014 13:52

Just got a big Happyland village set in Sainsburys reduced from £51 to £14.99. I'm well chuffed Grin it's got 3 shops, 2 vehicles, 7 people and various other bits.

It looks like some of the toys from their toy sale have gone into the clearance section. They had nice looking Bright Starts marble run things for £5 too, and a few other bits. Worth checking the clearance section if you are near a Sainsburys.
