River I love the goat picture Grin

I've just had a peak at DDs pile oh mountain and am debating wrapping small gifts for her as an advent present pile calendar alternative. I've been stockpiling Christmas themed books etc from charity shops throughout the year and have some little things like Christmas hair slides, chocolate coins, and snowman pens etc that I could separate and wrap to have a little something every day but I'm not sure if that's too OTT (and she'll expect it every year!)? I could number them to make it educational for number recognition

RJ did you get good seats for TT?

Elvish Thanks for that book people update.

IAmAPaleontologist: The Isme thingy says that the full price will be taken and then the £30 refunded, how long after does this happen, do you know?

I did the same thing with a Very account years ago, but can't remember!

FishCalledWonder · 14/11/2014 14:45

Bought it! Dh is going to kill me!

306235388 · 14/11/2014 14:56

lews is it a flipeez hat maybe?

BrucieTheShark · 14/11/2014 14:57

Apparently the Isme £30 goes back onto your card almost straight away. I was too chicken and bought it on the credit account then paid it off as soon as everything arrived. The £30 goes into the credit account immediately.

They said they were 'late' delivering mine, not that I noticed. So they sent me a code for a random £13.95 off which I have just spent - result!

DrankSangriaInThePark · 14/11/2014 14:58

The Furby? You'll love it.

I have just bought Lego Friends Heartlake shopping mall from Amazon. Cheapest I've seen it at £58. That's dd's main present done. Phew.

stacysmom · 14/11/2014 14:59

Queenoftheschoolrun, check out Howies for all things cycling - they do lovely quality, slightly in-jokey t-shirts which my dh loves. Unfortunately they are on the pricey side.

BrucieTheShark · 14/11/2014 14:59

Lol, DrankSangria I read it as 'Furby fish' and was wondering how there could be a toy I hadn't heard of. Nearly googled it like a twat.

I wondered what a furby fish was too. Blush

lews · 14/11/2014 15:09

306235388 I'm not sure - these ones you could move the nose and mouth into different places I think - still this may well do - thank you!!

imip · 14/11/2014 15:15

Yeah, the furby is particularly ugly, and I need two. So the child the gets it may feel unloved!

I get puzzles from The Entertainer, they are pretty cheap. But djeco and galt ones are very nice and good quality!

IAmAPaleontologist · 14/11/2014 15:17

Drank I used the code at checkout and it went onto my account straight away so then I just paid the balance as soon as I had received my order so I never had to pay out the full price and get refunded. Because it is a credit account you don't pay anything out in advance. I used the Very one last month too. Love those codes.

HollyBen · 14/11/2014 15:40

If anyone in Edinburgh is looking for a snow glow elsa, sainsburys at craigleith had 6 on the display at the front of the store at lunchtime. They also had 2 dolls for £20 which included disney sparkle princesses, monster high and barbie

DrankSangriaInThePark · 14/11/2014 15:41

Ah, OK, so I go for the "add to account" option? Then when the parcel arrives I pay up?

Thanks! Flowers

clr2014 · 14/11/2014 15:47

Just popping on to say I ordered frozen soft dolls(50cm ones)elsa and Anna for £12.36 total on 3 nov and they arrived today. Plenty of time still to order I think...

Dreamstosell · 14/11/2014 15:55

Drank I used the code on Very and paid by credit card. It took the full amount off my card and then paid the £30 pack straight away.

JustAShopGirl · 14/11/2014 16:31

I've got 2 of the monkeys - and entered the codes from my teabags to get little outfits for them for freeeeee - didn't even have to pay postage. make extra little stocking fillers for nothing.
